This is stupid. How is ONDC is guaranteeing against fraud and how are they going to handle returns. Current ecommerce websites abstracts lot of details away from User. ONDC gives too many information and open normal users to being scammed similar to what happened with UPI. Modi goverment in 2014 said goverment has no business to be in business. That was the right strategy. Goverment should not be part of something as complicated as ecommerce.
ONDC is still at infancy, they will obviously come up with something to counter frauds and all, besides where does government play a role in upi, it is not a part of businesses. Don't call the idea stupid when u hv no information regarding the developement of this idea.
