At 01:25 in the video entitled, "I tried Thailand's SPICIEST dish..." is music I really would like to know the name of.
      What is it, please?
The music is what I would call, incidental, waiting-around-for-something-IMPORTANT-to-happen music.
      It is hilarious.
      Please clue me in.
      Thanks!

I stayed in Akumal Caribe last month for a few days, which was not an all-inclusive hotel, but it was located on the beach and within walking distance to the Colectivo shuttle station. You guys must have entered the lagoon from the first entrance, which is less expensive and more limited. The second entrance has a larger snorkeling area. The sunrises at 7:25 AM in Akumal were incredible, the food in the Akumal pueblo are all delicious and cheap (like you said), and the semi-humid climate made my skin so soft. It was truly a paradisiacal experience.

Hello. I stayed in Akumal, but yes we stayed at an all inclusive resort that included like 5 other resorts. So we had access to many beaches. We had a car the whole time, and we would just take off to different places, but we didn’t explore a whole lot in Akumal. Thanks for sharing.

Hey guys thank you for shearing!
We have our condo in half moon bay, it is a quiet beach in the gated community, I guess you missed it? 2 restaurants there I’m sure you would loved it. Is great for snorkelling as well. Hopefully you can go back and check it out soon.
An other thing… if you would said that you were going to the restaurant for drinks in the public beach, they wouldn’t charge any money.
Any way thank you so much for shearing, love your videos you are a wonderful couple

We just arrived back in Canada Friday night. We stayed at a resort in Akumal and the trip back to the airport in a private shuttle took 2 1/2 hours. The traffic on that highway is brutal on a Friday afternoon to the airport. There weren’t any accidents, just traffic volume. I’ve been to this area several times over the years and there never used to be a seaweed issue but after a windy day/night the beach was 2 ft high of seaweed. The resort staff literally rake it up and put it in plastic bags and take it away. It’s a huge job to maintain. I’ll be heading to Puerto Vallarta again next time and will stay close to airport and avoid the seaweed.

We have been there 6 or 7 times since 2014 to snorkel. I love it! We’ve stayed at Secrets Akumal and it’s wonderful! It’s only been in the past few years that they charge and admission fee. Snorkeling is definitely the draw for us. The local beach bar is great. Kinda pricey but worth it. The last hurricane destroyed part of the area.

If you are going to present yourselves as informed travel vloggers, you might not butcher the pronunciation of your destination in the first minute - hint - in Latin American Spanish the syllables are enunciated very clearly. eg A- Koo- Mal.

@@johnmcisaac7905 Ok well since you're Canadian, I can almost guarantee you cannot pronounce most Australian cities correctly, such as Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra, I know this because I have a Canadian wife and worked on the rigs with Canadians for years. people from all over the world speak differently, Mexicans pronounce English words differently, I don't think it's a huge deal.

    • @johnmcisaac7905

@@LloydandMandy Lloyd, you are quite right it’s not a big deal. But the way Aussies pronounce those cities names is the correct way !
If one was visiting one of those towns, would one not want to learn to pronounce them correctly, ie same as the Aussies do?
That way they wouldn’t return home to tell folks they were in Mell-burn, Can-bare-a, and Briz-bane. Nasty!!!
And where are you from in the ‘down under’?

    • @johnmcisaac7905

@@LloydandMandy and Lloyd I didn’t take your challenge but I’ll give it a try
I would say BRIZ-bin, and CAN-bur-a. Accent on the upper case.
Melbourne is another animal entirely. There is no sound in North American english to rhyme with bourne.
We cannot hear an r in the way you say it. I think I’m able to say it close to Aussie style but there is no phonetic spelling
      of it in Canuck.
By the way,…no Aussies on the podium today at the PGA in Scottsdale Arizona. Jason Day didn’t have his best tourney.
      A Canuck (Taylor) took 2nd place. Just in case you’re a golfer….
