We loved it there so much - a place we would love to visit again! We were also blown away by how friendly and kind all the locals were. Such an amazing place.
Perhaps another visit to Penang again to visit the Blue & the Green Mansions where they showcase the Peranakan culture. Anyway happy holidays & discovery of SEA!
Her happiness memory deep inside her brain will remember forever. The first 3 years are very formative for a child. What you forming are 1000% mom and dad attention and love. Besides fun, loads of fun.
The artistic vibe on Penang Island is evident for all to see with street arts, murals and local art exhibitions abound. There's more to Penang than meets the eye. Enjoy!✌️
With six locations, George Town claims to be one of Malaysia's top tourist destinations. Each of which claims to be the best because of its uniqueness. Personally I think Penang Hills and Buddhist Temples are two amazing places that should not be missed. kudos to both of you.
Oh my gosh! You must go! If I'm honest, Gaia's highlight was the umbrella, but we all had such a great day doing the walks and being in nature. Let us know if you go and what you think!
Francis Light founded Penang from a jungle and it’s because of him, Chinese and Indian settlers moved there and created the George Town you are raving about. If him "taking possession" offends your sensibilities, don’t go there. I’m a regular visitor with along my Chinese Penang born wife and no one has ever suggested to me that Francis Light was some kind of a villain. Quite the opposite….
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Everyone has different feelings on colonisation (whether it was positive/negative). We hope you enjoyed the video regardless 🙂
