Thanks Bill, YOU are the reason I make these shows. Doing these videos bring me joy, and makes me appreciate this hobby even more, and the people in this community.
Joey, this is a fantastic pickup! As noted on Patreon, I'm certainly envious of this score. Finding this item with this condition box, with completely unused and unplayed with bits, and even better the cardboard inserts!!!!! (I never see those). You my friend made out like a bandit on this one. If I would have seen it for that price I would have scooped it up for sure as well. Congratulations! This playset sure is a funky one, to say the least. I had one of these in my childhood that was a hand me down from a neighbor kid, and it wasn't complete. I can honestly say that I don't think it ever got played with, but many parts got lost along the way. Lol Another wonderful addition to the collection. Can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Hey Mopar!!! Yes this was one of the strangest pickups ever. I thought the Ewok village was cumbersome, haha this one takes it by far. When this run os over I’ll do a list, and right now this is the top for most cumbersome lol.
When I was a kid, I added this thing to an ongoing series of stuff on a 4X4 board, and added blocks and other stuff for more going on in the scene. There was a G.I. Joe base, a lot of cardboard, and Navarone involved in there. The guns. It was all about the guns pointing outwards, to keep the Sceletors Nazi's and Cobras in line. It was like a round area with those big ass guns pointing out, and then whoever took it, had to try to keep it. Breaker was the 3 inch equivalent of the old 12 inch Commander, so he lead a bunch of rebels and green army men either holding the fort, or taking it over, as I added more and more of the times 3 inch and Marx figures to the sides.... Star Wars guys were just along for the ride along with the Micronauts and Adventure People...
Hey MoA!!! Dude if we would have played together as kids, I can only imagine the epic playsets we would have made, lol. Rad! Thanks for watching my friend

Oh yea, I’ve bought international before and the price made me out a restriction on my self from buying like that unless a I get a discount that offsets the shipping cost
Nice video padawan! I agree to a few points you made...for example if you don’t have this item, you might not miss it 😂. I remember a Friend who got it for Christmas and he was so embarrassed and didn’t want to show anyone. Good comparison to the Death Star playset, which is think gives you all the inside and outside to imagine your own scenes in the Star Wars world. For the star destroyer, this did not really work out for us as kids...but as I said, nice video.😊
Hey Marc! It made me laugh when you said your friend was embarrassed to show anyone! Haha I’ve totally been there with something as well. Thanks for watching my friend!
I like this playset for displaying the bounty hunters. In 1980, only three of them were available until late 1980 when Dengar came out with the Sears Cloud City playset. I knew that the other 2 couldn't be far behind. The gun in front of the playset resembles the gun near the beginning of A New Hope that almost shot down the Escape Pod. I knew that it was supposed to hook up with the Millennium Falcon but that was too risky for these toys. Good to see you did it so we don't have to.
Great video! I love this playset. I traded Imperial Attack Base for this when i was a kid. For some reason, the meditation chamber was the deciding factor. Loved that feature. I have my eye on a MISB version. Congrats on the pickup. The Collectors Alliance is such a great resource
Hey Eric! Yes! The mediation chamber would have been IT for me when I was a kid as well. I always thought that made Vader more sinister! Thanks for watching Eric!

It is still a great playset and can't understand the hate on it. I have to say every time I see your Death Star I just want to get one and play with it. So jealous of you.😊
Great video! I agree on all your points. It was a subsection of the star destroyer. Never was meant to be the whole ship like say the Falcon was. I played with mine for hours as a kid. It’s one of my few pieces from back then that is no longer with me.
