So unless they encourage people to keep the pumps and they sell the product in 100% aluminum bottles and caps as a "refill" they aren't forever recyclable. I hope they do have aluminum bottle refills eventually. My mouthwash that I currently use is fully aluminum packaging (bottle and cap) so I appreciate more brands switching to aluminum

    Her hair is goals. Just wondering what's so different about that particular brush? Could I not achieve similar results with any wide-toothed, plastic bristled brush?

    • @ElizabethDohertyThomas
      @ElizabethDohertyThomas 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah when I went to buy a Denman brush I got super confused because they sell it in the # of rows of bristles.... based on a category of your hair like it's density or curls or something? I ended up not buying it out of confusion! But it's very small rows, like 5 or 7 small rows vs most brushes have a lot of bristles which may put too much stress on the hair for this look? No clue really.

    Great video as always, India. I love your hair more defined; however, I love your beachy look equally! I think you should alternate. Also, doing your hair with the Denman will 'train' your waves and can make them more defined or curlier. Maybe you should do your normal routine but do a few Denman spirals throughout your hair to create a totally different look!
    I would love to see a 2nd or 3rd day hair with the Denman! I'm guessing you will have much more volume and it could turn into something you adore!
    Also, maybe try the Denman style but add a light hold hold gel during the 'squishing the Denman spiral curl' part. That would def add more definition and make your 2nd and 3rd day curls POP with volume AND definition!
    In summary, I would love to see a 2nd video on different Denman uses, such as the ones I mentioned. I have a feeling it might bring more fun into your curl routine b/c our routines can become so monotonous and sometimes boring.
    P.S. I bought the Denman years ago before it was all over the internet and paid less than 12$. I see it is over 20$ now!!?! That is insane for a brush, shame on them for upping for the price just b/c everyone uses it now!!

    I have fine/thin hair, some wave (was borderline curly before having babies) and if I use any conditioner, it's lank and oily quickly.
    If I use enough product (of any kind, so far) for it to actually effect my hair, it has a similar effect...
    If I perm it, I can do pretty much anything to it and it looks stunning! I'm trying to embrace my waves, though, and it's so different from my past hair. The only thing consistent is the thin/fine part 🤣
    Born with 99% straight hair, started growing out wavy/curly at 11, first term pregnancy (at 22) my hair went 90% straight. Now at 30 it's wavy when wet.
    No matter what I do, it's FLAT once it dries.
    I don't have the Denman brush yet. I've diffused (following specialists tips who have curly or wavy hair, like India and Mell), air dried, various curl products (mousse, gel, cream, etc).
    Anyone have IDEAS for a girl aching for even some waves 😭

    Can you tell me how much leave in you used? I think I saw about 2 pumps? Have you tried this with the Eva NYC curl defining cream? All of the Denman videos I’ve seen use a crunchy type product, so I was excited to see you use a smoothing product instead of a product with a ton of crunchy hold….if that makes sense :) My hair gets curlier the older I get, but in that weird fuzzy frizzy way. I’m just now venturing into the curly world since it’s always been easier to blow it straight. I hope I can get the process down and toss the flat iron and round brush for a while!

    Which Denman brush are you using? My hair is fine and not very dense due to thyroid hair loss. Mine is midway down my back and 2a, 2b with maybe a few 2c's in there. Just turned 60 and poker straight hair until maybe 10 or so years ago. Just learning to work with my wavy hair and I see you using a different technique than others. I def want to get a brush and try it. Do you get much crunch from these products and are they at all heavy. I get my best curl pattern comes from mouse, however, I didn't know about softening the cast with oil as I see some YT's do. This Old Dog is learning new tricks. Wish I'd known this when my wavy, frizzy haired daughter was a child. LOL Oh and I don't have a widow's peak, but don't care for a center part on myself, either.
