Off because the Meter is glitched and gives random "Lates" even when getting full bars or timing it close to the Top

@@book70 i completely disagree. My advice is to turn off timing and utilize the cradle layup more. I don’t have a dunk on my build so I have to think about my positioning more. Yeah with timing you’ll have the guys who green 53% but if you aren’t greening opens there’s no point in using it

@@philo2189 I play my league and my career I never play my team cause that tempts me as part of a money hole. But layups work for me regardless maybe its cause I play differently than y’all but they work fine for me.
What’s your advice on finishing a close shot. To me it makes sense to let the ball go when their hand gets as close to the basket as possible as u don’t know if it’s gonna be a dunk at times, but u get sold on these and miss even with an 80 rating. Some ppl make it with a 65 or so, so they kno something I don’t lol.

Online layups and downs are a joke. I miss so many. I feel like i am playing FIFA where the fix the game for your opponent to have a chance to come back. Am I wrong?

Thanks man. You didn't say how to do a floater if you press square to shoot. Do you hold the right stick down or the left stick? I use right stick for dribble moves. Not to shoot.

How do you switch a dunk into a layup midair?
Tap square mid dunk
You can also change the right joy stick direction mid dunk. That will change it to a layup and if you have acrobat and pro touch silver or higher its all 💰 🤑

It’s crazy that I dunk way more then I lay the ball up on 2k. Euro step, spin lay up, pro hop lay ups don’t really work on this 2k
sorry what did you mean with real player percentage
Real Player Percentage means that the shot will go in semi randomly. It considers openness, player, shot rating, etc… to determine the percent chance of the shot going in in real life. So when you shoot, there is a random chance of it going in that gets better with good shot selection. I definitely would not recommend it unless you’re a true beginner. It takes away most of your agency as a player.
In other words, you’re letting ronnie2k decide if he wants to let you score or not

@@BibyJoseph03 It depends on the settings. The close shot stat impacts floaters and normal close jumpers. Typically you’re better off using timing in this context. With a high close shot and layup the green window will be moderately sized. This means you can hit contested shots (by greening them) that likely won’t go in under real player percentage.
