  • 4 month review on the Borla
    The Borla sounds great, no drone in cab and sounds aggressive when going WOT. No raspy notes and definitely would recommend for a daily driver. If you’re looking for something aggressive and rowdy this wouldn’t be a good choice. I would say this is a great muffler for a daily driver or tow pig.

    Sounds really nice, I agree. Good for a daily driver.

      Thank you sir, we’ll see if the long tubes and cam change it up a bit but that won’t be for a few months at least.

    I got a nice 2001 Chevy 2500HD Duramax lb7 with only 95,000 miles ; like the body style of these trucks. I do have a 1999 Chevy 2500 6.0 214,000 miles good work truck and used as a daily driver.

      Very nice, I wouldn’t mind having a diesel one day.

      The Borla that’s on it is a pretty mellow muffler

    Get a 91 turn on it and run nothing less❤

      I have a Superchips tuner and have it on their “performance tune” I mostly run 93 in it.
      The Borla helps keep it pretty mellow since the exhaust goes all the way out to the back… well at least it did in this video.

    Do you still have the shorty headers installed in this video?

    • @OronasGarage
      @OronasGarage  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes I do, but the muffler is a Borla, and the other videos it was a Carven.

  • @FiveBoroNative

    How do you like this versus your other setup with the Carvens...?
    Funny enough, I've been curious how something like a ProXS or XR1 would sound on the exhaust with a Carven at the end of the pipe....

    • @OronasGarage
      @OronasGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      I like this particular Borla a lot. It has a nice mellow tone and it’s not raspy at all. But I do miss my Carven because it was a bit more aggressive, I just got some raspy notes with the carven which I didn’t care for. So it’s a bit of a trade off I guess, I currently have some resonators on this set up, which I plan to remove so we’ll see how that sounds once I do that.
