And a majority of them are outcasts whom society either screwed them over, abandoned them, or they left on their own accord. Put people with similar understanding situations together and they'll get tight-knit-if a bit ..quirky-pretty quickly.

I think it's the first time that I see an anime(shonen) where Friendship can actually make you stronger. Congrats Black Clover.
And also the way how Yuno and Asta push each other to become stronger and how Vanessa is able to manipulate fate to save her friends are great uses of "friendship power"
