Very nice play through. Morrowind is one of those games back in my mind always. Strangly mystic and nostalgic. I will try to catch up somehow and join you on your journey 😁✌

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Morrowind is an absolutely compelling game to play through for the first time. I struggled here and there, but now I can't help but be addicted to it. A good game to live rent-free in your mind, for sure! I can't wait to see you all caught up! I hope you enjoy every episode and it gives you that hit needed to perhaps revisit the game again yourself!
Also, yes! I do stream on Twitch when I can! You can follow me at twitch.tv/YourAverageBo!

Lots of questions in this episode. Here are some answers in no particular order.
If you ever decide to play another char, two of the side questlines will lead you to info about Yngling Half-Troll and what's going on in St Olms. Also, there's a side quest about Kagouti Mating Habits and one involving a pair of breeding Netch.
About Speed, if you like it, and it helps your playstyle, go for it. Every attribute adds something to your char, so do whatever feels right to you. A lot of people who have played Morrowind a few times will tell you Str is the most important attribute. I rank them in this order:
    Endurance
    Willpower
    Agility
    Strength
    Intelligence
    Luck
    Speed
    Personality
I'm pretty sure you can't zoom the map in Morrowind. Maybe someone has a mod that allows it?
You might want to see if you can find an online image of the paper map that originally came with the game. Iirc, it had regions marked, also clearly showed the location of Azura's shrine.
If you don't count the dlc, I'd say you're over half way thru the main quest. If you count Mournhold and Solstheim, maybe 20% of the way thru? And that doesn't even count all of the guilds.

Rando, I cannot stress enough how much of a MVP you've been through this entire playthrough. I know that if I ever have any questions I can count on you being there in the comments to fill in the gaps, so thank you for that.
I think there is a great chance that I'll be replaying the game again sometime in the future, perhaps making individual characters for each questline and exploring the guilds through that. But I may end up replaying the game again entirely if that's the case lmao-
As for the stats, I may pump my next level up into Speed just to ensure that content can be seen quicker and more rapidly rather than it breaking into a few episodes due to slow walk speed.
I'll look up a map of Vvardenfell before recording the next episode to take a glimpse at all the locations and try to remember them. Zooming into the map is probably something related to mods like you suggested.
Hard to believe I'm already over halfway in terms of the Main Questline! Twenty episodes certainly don't feel that long, but when you factor in that I've spent 22 or 25 hours combined, it kinda makes sense. I may end up doing the DLC at this point with how much I'm enjoying the game...

@@YourAverageBo and do u have any side mods like Alex's running whitout fatigue?

    • @YourAverageBo
      @YourAverageBo  ปีที่แล้ว

@@fuududidu Nope! I wanted to ensure my game was as vanilla as possible so I could enjoy the entire experience like people did when they first played. So, other than some graphical overhauls and bug fixes, it's all exactly as it is originally!

@@fuududidu Haha, thank you for saying so! I wanted to make sure my viewers didn't feel cheated by seeing me tackle a beloved game with mods that might take away from the original charm is all! It's true that it takes a bit to get used to, but I highly recommend powering through it and trying to play it as vanilla as possible. It really makes the entire experience more engaging! At least in my opinion, lol!

You gotta change up your video images man there’s zero info in them, literally. Have no clue where you’re at in the game from any of them

I'll certainly consider mixing it up a bit in the future! It's kind of hard to post screenshots of where I am exactly because some of the locations (daedric or dwemer ruins for example) usually have the same layout. So, if I do an episode exploring one and I post a screenshot with one of those as the background, people would still be quite lost. Hard to portray where I am exactly with thumbnails alone which is why I am approaching it by adding a unique background each time I hit another 10-episode milestone.
It's part of the reason why I recap what we did last episode and explain what we're planning on doing this episode at the very start. To quickly let people know where I am in the game and what I did previously.
That being said, I will attempt to make the thumbnails more 'central-focused' on where I am going forward.
