  • On this installment of the Factory Backing Midweek Podcast, we sit down with Geoff Patterson, who founded Leatt Brace USA decades ago and was essentially one of the partners who put the neck brace on the map. Since then, he's created an alcohol brand, an airline sleeping aid, and most recently, the Hitch Hotel. If you've attended a West Coast Supercross in the past two years, you've probably seen the Hitch Hotel on display with the Motoconcepts Honda team. Geoff is an interesting guy and a good friend; we think you'll enjoy this conversation!

I saw the Hitch Hotel at supercross and it looks really nice it perfect for a lot of overnight activities and the compactness makes it super easy for someone that has a two car garage, in the SF Bay-Area it’s 400-600$ a month for RV storage and if someone breaks into it you’re out of luck and it happens a lot! He needs to incorporate that aspect into his marketing!!! ❤

No, I’d say it was costly crashes. 2022 he fumbled big time, he and Tom crashed together but Tom rode away. 2023 he had the broken wrists putting his hands out flying down the hills of France. To say the neck race caused it shows you don’t know much!

What you mean is he crashed his bike and only got a broken collarbone and isn’t in a wheelchair. ❤🙏
