Ernie sent me to JUG so many times...LOL Loved it. I graduated from North Catholic in 1976

I was in Jug alot, I graduated in 2006 and had 35 days of jug left after graduation. Ernie could have not let me walk at graduation, but instead allowed me to work of my jug debt by moving computers between the annex and the original building. I am not proud of how I acted in those days, but couldn't be more thankful to Mr. K for the impact he made on me. TENUI NEC DIMITTAM

Many a day in JUG due to repeated suspensions. Dad had to come and meet with Father Quayle to keep me in North since I was getting ready to be expelled. Had no intention of attending our rival neighborhood school, you know, red-blue-gold colors - so I quickly learned my lesson. Falcon Forever! Class of '74. Fablio - N Fablio - C.

In the 60's and 70's Father Quail was the toughest SOB at North

Drunken SOB would be locked up for what he did. While a freshmen saw him knockout out a senior with one punch.

He was a no good drunk SOB. Fought with him for over 4 months Thieves insisted that all sophomores had to pay a lab fee. Told them that I was share time and did not have biology so I wasn't going to pay for anything that I did not receive. Told drunken POS that I should get a discount being I was only at North for 3 classes. He exploded. Thought that I spit in the Pope's face. Told me several times that he was going to suspend for not paying lab fee. He finally gave up trying to extort me. The oblates managed to steal $5 from me after graduating. When I turned in my graduation robe the keep $5 so told them they shorted me. On no it's for joining the alumni. I was staring a full time job two days later and was going to use the money for tools. They mailed me alumni crap every year to my mom's house. Told my mom to keep putting their mail in the trash. Told my mom that if by some miracle that I became millionaire I wouldn't give North a penny.

JUG. JUSTICE UNDER GOD. Back in late 60's had a few students that had indefinite JUG. They had to go to JUG everyday until they got tired of looking at them. I got JUG several times due to trolley being very late. I was share time and when I was at Mastbaum in the afternoon never once wasted a token to attend JUG.

I scored a 10 day JUG sentence myself back in 1986 for playing a song too many times as a lunch time DJ. I'll never forget Koshenig showing up in the doorway of Fitzie's 7th period accounting class saying "MacKenzie, my office, now. You know why." Cue the "ooohs".

He don't even come close to Father Walsh.....known fondly as "Knobby." He was unbelievable....if you were doing something wrong and thought no one saw you.....turn around and there was Father Walsh.

leo USMC they're closing had literally absolutely nothing to do with greed and everything to do with the lack of income being generated due to a decrease of total students bc of a declining incoming freshman class year after year. Reason is the surrounding neighborhoods are no longer working class middle class Catholic strongholds as many people either don't have the money, don't participate in the church or simply have moved out and the size of the families or no longer what they used to be 30 years ago. North Catholics numbers steadily declined from the late 60s until the late 90s and then saw a steep loss of students in the 2000s that ultimately they were never able to recover from like Bishop McDevitt and West Catholic did to stay open
