The warp room portal looks absolutely gorgeous! When I watch these mods I feel like a kid again having crazy dreams about new levels and pickups. This channel is truly a gem for a fans of Crash 2 and 3.
You saying that reminds me of a dream I had as a kid, of a new Crash 2 warp room and I specifically remember a portal surrounded by red hot pipes and the level was called "Bolt!" I always wondered what kind of level Bolt! would be, maybe a chase level in the "hot" area of a sewer level.
This looks so cool. It's like I'm seeing a timeline where Vicarious Visions kept making original levels for the n sane trilogy lol. Hats off to you, sir.
Incredible Crash level! Now this is what imo Crash is about which is that hybrid platforming action where you spin, jump, and ride a bunch of things to keep spicing things up. The 2D jetpack section reminded me of the helicopter section in the 2D volcano levels of Ntranced.
This is so epic!! 😮😃 Love all of the ideas used here and the jet-ski and jet-pack being used in different ways in a Dino level!! Very, very, very unique and cool!! Awesome!! A+++ ❤
I love that the relic times are shown before the level in their respective colors, neat little touch. Also, yay, developer relics! 🥳I'm gonna have a fun time trying to beat those, these levels look like a good challenge.

There is one level that felt like using a maker, because it only contains crates. I think theres some Unity/Unreal fangame thing that sort of does what you described
This mod is impressive! While we don't have a 3D editor, the closest thing to mario maker there is is Crash Bandicoot Back in Time, a well known fan game. I play it almost daily and create tons of levels They are not as elaborate as those 3D mods, but they definately feel like crash
So Blue Crystals are finally real. I have made them up many years back in Crash Bash for difficulty higher than Platinum Relics. Slightly inspired by Aladdin's Nasira's Revenge elusive "Blue Gems". Those were hair ripping difficult haha.

Thank you. Luckily the time trial times arent super strict, and there are plenty of masks. I can think of several levels with a more difficult time trial. But I'm kind of biased since I've played this level a lot. I'm curious whether and when someone beats the dev time. It's not perfect but its quite close to what I can get, I didn't really make any mistakes in it.

People probably didn't understand what the video was about. The title needs to be changed so that it is clear to users and then many people will watch the video)

It is a Crash 2 mod, not Crash 3, but otherwise you're quite spot on - much of Crash 3 can be used even back in the Crash 2 engine, that is why we often use Crash 3 levels and obstacles. It mixes existing level types and enemies, but there are also several levels that contain new custom scenery and most levels contain custom enemies or obstacles. 2D Jet-Pack Phase is really a great idea.
It actually plays very intuitively too. Stopping the player from going out of bounds wasnt easy tho xd

@@Aversatrixhow’d you get duckstation to work with modded crash levels. I always get freezes on there for modded crash levels so I had to use epsxe
Some mods are made poorly so it crashes on more accurate emus. epsxe and psxfin are rather forgiving in this regard
