Tropical Glamping Nusa Penida has come a long way since the 4 years it’s been open. I have put my blood, sweat and tears into these villas. Join me on this channel by subscribing as I share the progress and updates of what it is like building a villa in Bali , and the processes from start to finish.
We have seen multiple set backs throughout this project , but we will continue to rise above the challenges and find new ways to overcome them.

Places like Canggu, Uluwatu and Ubud have seen dramatic growth over the years, and it’s definitely not slowing down. I wonder if Nusa Penida will see many travellers making base here... For now we do not see so many, but the tourists attractions here are becoming more and more busy every year.
Bali is a dream for tourists, it has picture perfect locations, amazing hotels and villas, exquisite landscapes, surreal beaches and a vibrant community everywhere you go.

I'm not surprised you built in east penida. You're very far from developed areas. Which is great for people who like isolation and self sufficiency but for me its too far out. The roads there are horrible, takes ages to ger there. I'd never stay there

Would this survive a 7+ shallow earthquake?
Well let’s pray this doesn’t happen - and we don’t have to experience this . But I do belive that the bamboo structure yes would . We have had our fair share of quakes already in the last 4 years and the other two seem to handle it really well . As we focus on keeping the foundations minimal , and not destroying or moving any land . So the environment is still strong .
And then the actual building itself being bamboo , super versatile , flexible , and can withstand shakes for sure 🙌
A lot more safe than full concrete foundation I believe .
Good to know. I was in Seminyak in September when there was a 6.9, but fortunately at some depth. I'd never felt an earthquake as strong as that before being from the UK.
