See, THIS is what I want to see from the TC2 community. Not just montages and clip dumps, but videos akin to the likes of TF2 TH-camrs like Soundsmith, Elmaxo, and so on. The TC2 community has so much potential, and it really shows from TC2bers like you and some others I have in mind. Keep up the great work!

a good melee i like to use while playing shotgun brute is the gravity coil, which kinda removes the issue of mobility. (especially good on harvest)
especially when playing fat scout(yes, I've use this subclass before)

Compared to earlier videos the audio is at a much better volume, I no longer have to set it to 300% volume lol

another cool thing is that it can be useful for the "fat scout/flanker" subclass, paired with eviction or any of the two coils.

As a Brute who use mainly shotgun as a go 2 weapon,I’m shock that it is underatted
The sub shotgun got buffed at some point between now and the release of this video. The healing penalty only applies while the weapon is active now, and the burgers act as medium health packs. This is one of my favorite weapons to use, especially when paired with the first responder and gravity coil.

i never really understood the gravity coil, i know its useful for rev jumping but other than that its not as good as the speed coil or fists of steel.

ok so while the sub shotgun seems to be perfectly fine on brute i was wondering how would work on other classes like mechanic, trooper and arsonist.
mechanic really benefits the most here as he doesnt have a clear weapon which allows him to heal himself and if you're playing battle mech or mechacop you're basically never at full health immediately after a fight, which would lead to you having to scurry all the way back to a health kit and leave the frontlines, or dying. but with the sub shottie you get to stay in fights longer, deal more damage and maybe even get a streak or 2.
for trooper the sub shotgun is fine as he has other healing options but, it's better than using the conch and having no close range option, leading to suicide kills. It also could be great for those with a pocket med as they can finish a enemy off with the gun and the med gets the ᵇᵘʳᵍᵉʳ. idk about those who wanna rocket jump sooo
arsonist is the one class that y'k, kinda doesn't need the weapon at all, as it can use the healing mallet and get a kill for no healing penalty really, thus invalidating the use of sub shotgun unless they wanna support a dying medic.

I actually play Brute with shotgun alot, I personally don’t use the Sub Shotgun because, it just doesn’t feel good to use. I prefer the Family Business and Stock

i always LOVED using the sub shotgun. found it amazing to have a medic use kritz on me and they just keep getting health to KEEP USING THE UBER

-Less consistant damage than minigun
-Less shots than stock shotgun
-Replaces lunch box item

its a shotgun becuse lunch box items cant deal damege on their own yet a gun can heal on their own becuse of the first responder

and brute has some that can give him an entire killstreak (if one has dem skills or plays team deathmatch)

The sub shotgun does NOT deal the same amount of damage as the other shotguns do. The dmg is reduced.

Whenever I use the sub shotgun I never deal enough damage to kill the opponent so I end up using the minigun and not get a free burger
