For me, it's one of the best welding helmets that I've used. The only downside is that the battery dies quick. I'm on my third battery. Have the helmet almost two years now.
Price regardless, this is the best hood on the market. I had the first 3350 and it died after a year . Wish I would of known it was under warranty. Tried everything else but nothing has the hood comfort and clarity and doesn’t have the dumb digital screen controls. The only downfall was the grind button that didn’t used to be there. I just ordered the 4th green Viking today. Can’t wait!!!
I bought mine on January 9 2022 and doesn’t work anymore im really disappointed I spend a lil more of $400 on this helmet because i was expecting it would last me 2-3 years atleast. Now i hope Lincoln would keep their word of the 3yrs warranty.
Love my 3350, only wish they had an on off switch so the battery would last longer. I don't weld every day so I always need to take it apart to get to the battery and remove it.
Looking to purchase one of these. Coming from a speedglas 9100. The headgear and lens size is my main point but everything else seems like a hassle. Any advice out there?
Play with the sensitivity a lil bit. I have mine set exactly right and if I moved it a bit either way I’d get flashed. It can be finicky but when you find the sweet spot it should be good. If that don’t work then clean the solar lenses and replace the front cover cuz if those are dirty it can effect the sensitivity too.
What would you recommend between a Panaromaxx CLT ( Crystal Len's) vs the 3350 4c I tig weld indoor's and clarity is a big plus for me...am looking for a welding helmet and stuck between these two and a t94i
Hey- good question all good helmets but CLT is really in another category for the feel closer to your face and clarity. I would say for TIG the Crystal for sure would be great but the 3350 would be the value option if you wanted to spend a bit less for similar options and view.
They definitely do mount just depends on which lens you buy. Bought a 1.50 and it mounted very easily didn't had to sand the sides either. Glass too Welding Magnifying Lens Eye-Protecting Welder Accessories 1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0 Diopter Cheater Lens for Welding Helmet(1.5) a.co/d/0YJZh0T

Beats the cheap ones that die in two weeks

just bought one off you guys, hope it works great!
Can see felt marker lines on my aluminum when welding 👌✌
I love the outside grind mode selection and the head gear. The only problem is the single battery dies fast
Thanks for watching! It should last a while. Feel free to reach out if you keep having this issue.

is that button the only way to use grind mode or is there a button by the rest of the controls
Great review 👌. Just wondering what s the difference between this model & the Mojo , & the Motörhead??!
I have the 3350 series, the weld puddle was blue at 1st now its orange, how do you get the 4c technology back for blue puddle??

It is a great helmet! Very few issues we really like them. Any other questions let us know.
My manuel says to turn off the hood when not using for long periods of time. How do i do this?
My first battery died farely quickly only lasted about 1 and half months
I’m barely learning welding, for this helmet how would you know you need to change out the battery?
There is a light on the inside panel that will begin to blink when the battery is low.
you can also check by looking at your phone screen it'll darken from that
Today on 120 amps dc I got flashed twice. It doesn't happen on AV. What is the fix?👎

Great video! Is the Viking 3350 a one-size-fits-all or are there different sizes?
The Viking 3350's all have the same viewing range just a variety of graphics available. bakersgas.com/collections/lincoln-welding-helmets
Does the Viking Series have a USB rechargable battery?
Which has better clarity? This or the sentinel a60
How you put cheaters lens into that 🤷🏼♀️
price point? Well what is it? Info is lacking.
I paid 400 usd for mine yesterday…I’m not sure of what he means by price point since it’s pretty expensive compared to the shields available today!

Wire always gets thrashed breaks off …eats batteries also
Wait, a guy from LE doing a review of their own product? No bias there…
he already fk the wires up lol
Cheater lense mount ?
Definitely not 🤣🤣
@@GetRich23 thanks, without cheaters I am blind.... I do precision tig welding and magnification is mandatory

@@esmail9004 thanks, a must have for me....
@@esmail9004 would’ve never guessed.
That be a great hood if the wire wasn’t connected to the lens that makes it a deal breaker for me
I agree with you but I already bought it not knowing this
