My only gripe with this series of videos is that they generally only involve supporters of the big 6 clubs in England with the supporters from each team debating over the same players each and and every time. Cech was great but he wouldn't be able to sweep as well or make nearly as many 1v1 saves as Alisson has done with Liverpool's high line and more attacking playstyle. Alisson's save stats are insane and far above other goalkeepers and I don't think Cech's would be as high. Not to mention that Alisson is much more comfortable with his feet.

Cech was great but he wouldn't be able to sweep as well or make nearly as many 1v1 saves as Alisson has done with Liverpool's high line and more attacking playstyle. Alisson's save stats are insane and far above other goalkeepers and I don't think Cech's would be as high. Not to mention that Alisson is much more comfortable with his feet.

Actually, the closest thing would probably be his time at Arsenal which wasn't exactly amazing. Also the trophy argument is so boring because 1) Alisson hasn't finished his career yet 2) Trophies are won by teams, not just goalkeepers and 3) Cech wasn't up against a Pep Guardiola nation state-backed oil team. Once Alisson has retired and also has the benefit of the same kind of nostalgia, I think he'll gain even more respect.
