Our best era was arguably 1974 - 83 when Bob Paisley's Liverpool fc won 3 League cups , 1 Uefa cup , 6 League titles and 3 European cups . I'd still put Bill Shankly down as the greatest ever manager because he turned Lfc into an institution and left a system and staff in place to bring even more success to our Great Football Club . Klopp would have won far more if he had the financial backing Man City , Man Utd and other clubs have . Klopp was successful despite our miserly board .
