My rides take me into the Byron Bay Hinterland of NSW there is a good mix of gravel etc the roads are so bad you need a gravel bike lots of hills and lots of great coffee my recent purchase of a Canyon Grail SLX has been a great choice
this is the terrain ive been riding on my entire life and ive always purchased the standard MTB. i wasnt even aware about gravel bikes until a year or so ago. my rides would have been so much more energy efficient with a gravel bike in comparison to a mtb. sucks lol. at least it made me fitter, riding everywhere on hard mode lol.
Amazing footage guys, this was really fun to watch. Were those tubeless tires that were able to be fixed by what looked like sealant? By the way what is that method of repairing a puncture, I'm intrigued to find out? Many thanks
i live in south wales so plenty of gravel forest access roads, cycle paths and single track so lots of riding here, my bike is an Orbea Terra and an old giant toughroad drop bar bike which i actually prefer over the orbea, one disappointment for me is no Robyn in this video tut tut. but otherwise great video as always.
Western Pennsylvania is a full mix of long and flat crushed limestone to straight up hills with baby head size stones. I do most of it on my Salsa Warbird. The real narly stuff I’ll ride on my mtn bike.
Thanks for your comment, we love riding in South Wales! In fact we've been filming there recently 👀 Unfortunately Robyn couldn't make this ride but we'll be seeing more from her soon!
Here in the east of Suffolk we have a lot of sand and Some nice fire road trails through coniferous woodland. And heathland. Hitting it all on my genesis CDF
Exact same thing happened when I tried to use a Stan's dart a few days ago - absolute rubbish! Glad I'm not the only one 😅Gonna try a Dynaplug next...
Stans dart needs a steel driver instead of that flimsy plastic thing that breaks.
Get a Peaty's holeshot kit
I'm am pleased to see Jack and Felix suffering on their bikes on steep and rocky trails through the woods for their art. 😀
We wouldn't want it any other way 😁 Thanks for watching Robb!
i would have taken a hardtail XC MTB on that ride.. esp. since you are not packing any gear on the frame

Gravel biking in the UK looks suspiciously like rigid cross country mountain bike.
Don't matter tho, fun is fun

What's a boy to do?
-Jacket off!
I spit my beer after this.
Was there actually any gravel on the route?
👍
I had the same f*cking problem with stans dart!!!
What's the gravel cycling like in your local spot and what bike are you riding it on? Let us know! 👇

Gravel? Don't you mean - mudel! 😅

Seems like more of a mudriding than gravel.
