People complaining about the game being "too much like a movie" even though the game is literally supposed to be that way because it's based on the MOVIES. The only reason some games, specifically older games, aren't like this is because they dont or didn't have as much production or because its just a totally different style of game in general. It genuinley blows my mind that people are complaining about a game for being what it was intended to be.
I love how music aligns with Indiana punching that guys face. Game looks great and is something new and has that Uncharted vibe which is always welcome.
Personally I think it looks awful. Not the scenery which is imaginative and interesting but the motion capture and especially the faces is like something you'd see in a game 15 years ago. It's dire, like they didn't do facial capture at all and just married up the voice acting to the mo-cap in production. Given the amount of cut scenes, this thing will suck to play through..

Chill dude. You can play loads of console games - the home of third person games :) PC is the home and godfather of first person gaming. Granted, this will be a multi format game but just play something else.
I will tell you from experience, it's so easy to loss a helmet even with strap. You will say that's impossible, but, i lost two helmets because of wind. I work on container ships, even with strap i managed to loss two :)) Sure, in this trailer it's a little odd because the helmet is going to the back and not forward.

I hope it's not just punching and shooting. Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine was one of my favorite games as a kid and it had impossibly hard puzzles that really challenged your mind. The fighting was just a small part of it. By a lesser extent, Emperors Tomb was also amazing
I dont get why people want it to be TPP. This game wants you to be Indiana Jones, not just feel like him and Machinegames already makes some of the best shooters. The woofenstein games have one if the best and smoothest gunplay in fps games.

A reason there haven’t been is because of the failed Staff of Kings game for the Xbox 360/PS3 generation of games. The whole thing went through development hell, especially because of engine problems. Then Uncharted came out and did everything Staff of Kings was trying to do so Lucasarts dropped the progress and only kept the awful ports for the Wii, DS, and PSP.
can they please hire the studio behind Horizon Forbidden West for facial animations and believable characters? To this date i have not seen a video game that comes even close.
As some that played the Infernal machine wen i was a kid and bankrupt my mom by printing a pdf guide from the internet to learn how to get pass the first push/pull stone in Canyonlands i am hyped:P

The camera still pans out to third person for cutscenes and certain actions, though. Like swinging from the whip or climbing on pipes and such.
