Hi Nicole, love what you have done with this piece. Just my opinion, and maybe something to try on another piece... Maybe peyote stitch together the bales that hold your chain. It would strengthen that bale, and even though it won't be seen it would really nice. Just an idea.

Nicole, I am trying to find the difference between ultrasuede and microsuede. I used what i thought was ultrasuede for the backing of my bead embroidered piece and it frayed quite alot (although I now know I should have not cut the fabric as close to the piece as I did) and also the E6000, although I used it sparingly, really showed through the back of the....whatever I used-- ultrasuede/microsuede. So my question, since I see your piece didn't have any problems with glue seepage, is how to tell the difference, or IS there a difference between microfiber/microsuede and ultrasuede? Thanks!! LOVE your wonderful tutorials!

Honestly, I believe the two are different, but I don't have any direct experience with microsuede. I buy the ultrasuede from Etsy and it's amazing. It's on the pricier side, and you probably COULD get away with using a faux-suede fabric of another sort, though it would require some trial and error. This stuff doesn't fray at all and the glue never seeps, so that's what I tend to recommend.

Thanks, Nicole. I just ordered ultrasuede on Etsy. A 9" x 9" piece of black ultrasuede was $9.50 including shipping. I got what the fabric store listed as ultrasuede for my first piece and it frayed so bad that some of the beads came out. Blah... NOT ultrasuede! Thanks for the confirmation! :-)

hi thank you for the video. I have a question please and thank you if you don't mind. can you do the peyote stitch like you just did to a 1" round epoxy cabochon with 11/0 delica beads? I'm just learning new beading stitches. thank you

Can add dots of hot glue to secure if you connect beading while other glue dries. Video was good not a fan of beading around large objects. Please if your gonna spend that time beading use real center stones not glass or plastic. It cheapin it and an insult.

Those are Dendritic Agates--one even has some "moss", and Moss Agates with dendrites are highly sought-after.
