Football stadiums disperse the energy in my experience. Even if you fill it to the brim most people are just too far away from the band to really go off.
@jaimecanez3235 Go watch the footage from Castle Donington, England - June 10, 2023...songs like Harvester and Leper people are spread for what looks like miles and everyone is also just standing there. So you can forget your slight at American crowds. If you wanted to really mosh at a Metallica show, you had to be there with us in the late 80s or early 90s. Before the geih phones arrived and helped ruin concerts.
I felt it was better the first night. Muddier the second night. James' acoustic guitar for unforgiven and cleans for Dirty Window sat way too high in the mix, and not particularly well.
It seems it mattered very much where you were located...Football stadiums are terrible for audio, imo compared to a theater. There were plenty of complaints but there were also plenty that say it was good. Hit & miss apparently. For me, the people screaming at times was washing out the band. Literally deafening and was physically making my ears explode. I could barely even hear them playing Ride the Lightening and a few others at some parts.
What a good night! And lucky enough to hear my all time fav Blackened unreal
Lars throws me a drumstick at 7:12 !! Had a sign and was like saying things to me while he was playing towards the end.. amazing night
Man so lucky. My brother and I wanted to hear Blackened at the LA shows 😭
...and Justice for all is already diamond in the USA (not yet certified as such though) even without the bass !!
Best Metallica album!! …and justice for all!
Thanks for posting this!
I was in section 113 fow 29, it sounded amazing....my phone didnt do it justice
justice for all ? lol \m/
Why is no one in the crowd moving? There seems to be a little mosh pit near the drum kit and that’s it
Because American crowds are lame as fuck!

How was the sound in there? The sound at Sofi was terrible.

The sound was great both nights. I was at both shows. No issue with the sound at all.
