    • @cloudcolubrids4603
      @cloudcolubrids4603  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The same way. You would have to get the dimensions of the tubs see how many you want per shelf. Do the math see the length x width you need to make each shelve....how many shelf you need then see the height

      I couldn't put a price on this rack since I built it from left over excess pvc . When you order the pvc, they charge you per piece, so if it takes 4 pieces to make the cuts you asked.for there's always alot left over and they just give it to you. On my bigger racks I paid around $300-$400 in pvc but for a rack this size it would have cost me around $175 back then when I made it...now the cost of.pvc has sky rocketed so it may be double the cost now. They where selling sheets of 8x6 for.$79.99 in 2020 now its around $165 or more

    • @cloudcolubrids4603

      It depends. If you need a larger rack it still pays to build yourself as many of the professionally made racks will charge you high prices for much smaller.racks.
      But the gap in cost is getting closer and buying a rack already made dosnt cost that much more than making one....unless the company's start jacking up the prices

    I use melamine wood that's totally coated, and using Silicone caulk to seal it makes it very waterproof. Can use melamine strips with waterproof glue too for the outside to have it look good. Epoxy is another way, especially for the substrate layer. The wood/melamine is better for enclosures though probably, though if damaged replacing parts/etc is much cheaper anyway so that's a bonus. Great vid!!! Thanks for sharing.

    Thank you so much for making this video! I would like to make a snake rack but I have been very anxious about building one. It was really cool to see someone build one without the fancy tools like corner clamps or the routers, just because I don't think I could afford those at the moment. Your snake rack looks so amazing! I think the black pvc looks much nicer than the white pvc. Also, the black is probably going to be better at retaining heat, anyway.
    Another thing I really enjoyed was how relaxed/calming/reassuring you were! It was very nice listening to your voice and very reassuring for someone who hopes-to-be a reptile breeder in the future. I am quite a bit north of Florida, so I think I would want to do belly heat for my snakes. I feel like I have finally have gotten all the research I need to start constructing my first blueprint for my first snake rack! A final thing is that it was comforting to hear you acknowledge how you were a bit nervous before beginning to build your first snake rack. I feel like a lot of snake breeder are like always super confident and definitely know what they are doing, so it was cool to see that reptile breeders still may be a bit unsure how things will. turn out when trying new or big things, like building a snake rack for the first time.
