    I was at this event that night. I became a Christian that night, along side hundreds of others. Thank God for Billy Graham. Now we must continue to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a world in such desperate need. We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. Philippians 4:13

    I’d rather be a piece of grass in heaven than to have all the money in the world plus all the
    materialism and all the power combined because without God your soul would be still empty
    because with God your soul is filled with joy peace happiness and heaven.

    Such a dedicated man. Takes a lot of guts to stand for something so adamantly, unbending and devote your life to the cause. Atheist or Christian alike have to respect a man like that

    • @SpaceAceTX
      @SpaceAceTX 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +SpaceAceTX You probably read the story of Jacob and Esau today and thought, I can't believe Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of soup. How foolish! But let's think beyond birthrights and soup. Is there anything of true value that you are trading for something of lesser worth? In other words, what is your "bowl of soup"?
      Have you pursued wealth and a career at the expense of family? Maybe your busy schedule has kept you from spending time with God in His Word each day. Some people become involved in extramarital affairs, trading the well-being of their family for the satisfaction of lustful desires. Others sacrifice their health by consuming harmful or addictive substances, or even by overindulging in food. The list of ways we make foolish, shortsighted choices is endless.
      Some of the decisions we make today could rob us of the blessings God wants to give us. When you yield to temptation in a moment of weakness, you're actually sacrificing your future for momentary pleasure. We can't afford to live thoughtlessly, basing our decisions on immediate desires or feelings. Since the principle of sowing and reaping cannot be reversed, we need to carefully consider what we are planting. The harvest will come, and we'll reap what we have sown--and more than we've sown.
      Are you contemplating anything that could have serious long-term ramifications if you yield to the yearning? A wise person evaluates choices by looking ahead to see what negative consequences could follow a course of action. Don't let "a bowl of soup" hinder God's wonderful plans for you.

      @Maralah Quin thank you I will take that to heart, I believe the Bible is perfect and there is no reason to correct it with what you don't believe is perfect. That's my issue, not saying Billy wasn't or isn't saved. But honestly I appreciate the advice. I could and should call out to God daily with fasting and prayers.

    Once, after coming down from the pulpit at a Baptist church in America, where I had been a guest speaker, I was asked by a lady: "Do you have the King James Bible in Greece?", "No" I answered, "In Greece we have the Greek James Bible". "Oh," she said, "What Bible is that?"...!

    • @3Sphere
      @3Sphere 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      So, you're saying that she was stupid and ignorant- and you're superior? And then you lied to her? How does that honor God? Doesn't sound very Christian to me. In fact, it sounds like all the rest of the satanic shit I see and hear every day on the TV.
      I'd love to read the Bible in the native Greek but I would need to be a native speaker or spend too many years in study in order to understand all the subtleties that elude me even in the exceedingly strange KJV version.

    Historians agree that the gospels (written in Greek, by unknown authors, from 70 to 140CE) portray Jesus as famous far and wide, a prophet and healer, with great multitudes of people who knew about him, including the greatest Jewish high priests and the Roman authorities of the area, and not one person records his existence during his lifetime? If the poor, the rich, the rulers, the highest priests, and the scribes knew about Jesus, who would not have heard of him?
    Amazingly, we have not one Jewish, Greek, or Roman writer, even those who lived in the Middle East, much less anywhere else on the earth, whoever mention him during his supposed life time. This appears quite extraordinary, and you will find few Christian apologists who dare mention this embarrassing fact.
    2. The world has been for a long time engaged in writing lives of Jesus... The library of such books has grown since then. But when we come to examine them, one startling fact confronts us: all of these books relate to a personage concerning whom there does not exist a single scrap of contemporary information -- not one! By accepted tradition he was born in the reign of Augustus, the great literary age of the nation of which he was a subject. In the Augustan age historians flourished; poets, orators, critics and travellers abounded. Yet not one mentions the name of Jesus Christ, much less any incident in his life. - Moncure D. Conway [1832 - 1907] (Modern Thought)
    Jesus is all myth!
