I recognized some of the sounds from the 2000 pack, as someone who only recently got into production could you maybe make a video talking about that? It does seem to me like a lot of music from way back sounded very similar, I always just assumed it was because of hardware limitation that simply wasn't that versatile.
a bit that, a bit "fashion" (or, the very definition of a style... all hard house was built around the hoover synth, all hardstyle from back then around the reverse bass)
i recognized all your sounds and loops,i started in 1997/1998 im getting old... i remember the times of propellerhead rebirth (first version of reason) generator (first version of reaktor) and cubase
propellerhead rebirth propellerhead reason lol unless it was called stein berg rebirth, but I'm 90% sure it was only by propellerhead with an ok from roland
@@andreilemieux9525 i love reason too, i started with rebirth then moved to reason and now i use ableton, reason was by far the most entertaining and creative DAW i ever used
I work with ableton for 3 years now and learned everything on my own. I had struggles with midi at the beginning, so the way you do it in this video is how I still do it and it's easier for me. Is it wrong or something? Anyway your videos helped me a lot. I will probably buy a sample pack from you.
it's just a bit of a mess if you want to replace one single sound... like a hat or a kick, you will need to replace every single sample in the whole track. That and you can't auutomate things such as ADSR :(
Very powerful sound
honestly that kick could work in modern techno too haha
True, if it works, it works
hey, I know this guy!
Good stuff man! This style is so powerful and still being played today. People are craving some new stuff.
glad to see you back man :)
Your work flow is crazy fast , hope to be this quick soon
I always learn something from your vids. Thank you.

Welcome back boss
Hi
What is the sample pack you use with drums loops?
Does anybody have any idea where you could buy the Tidy Trax sample CD?
A Sadowick-athon today 😁
THAT. WAS. AWESOME.
I enjoyed this video. I hope you're doing well dude.
Cool you should go back even farther to 98 and do a video on how house was made back then
I was playing with legos back then but ill see what I can do.
you're a great man

beautiful, thx a lot
I would have no problem with you adding commercials to your videos man! Anything to support!
Using sample pack loops = Sacrilege! I'm pretty sure loads of people still drop in the odd premade loop (even if filtered or mangled...I know I do)
Thank you for this! Any way to find these sample packs today?
Concerning the stab you can easily make it by yourself. Basically it's a saw wave with dist and reverb
Medi ben lahcene thanks
There is a free plugin called "RaveGenerator" which contains multiple Old School stabs.
FreetimeXL thank you!!
Its the vengeance sound pack bro, its all over the internet
6:16 Duffman theme
And how do you make techno tracks in 2021?
heh, discover release...
yaaaaass I am the 420th like!
