      How to-the-point you explain your actions is enticing. The way you no-fuzz avoid overthinking and tinkering with sounds and arrangement bits is inspiring. Such a great process you've got going there. Thanks so much.

    Track is nicee 😁 I actually stumbled onto this video bcs I'm thinking of trying to produce some tracks but didn't find the answer I was looking for 🥲
    Like if I happen to like a lot of vocals on my tracks and want to use some from another song, how do I sample it on account of the background drums? Like do people drown them out somehow with filters or do they incorporate them into the track? Like when someone uses hollaback girl in a trackor when charlie sparks used a whole ass rap song in his welcome to london track.

    Hey LNA this came out well and was really helpful. It is probably inevitable to upgrade to Ableton, it's definitely the go-to DAW for techno. I think it will be worth it. A lot of techno vocals seem to come from old sci-fi films.... I think of a ship's computer, AI or securty system saying something like "Destruct sequence initiated.....45 seconds until self-destruct..." And that was the fastest I've seen someone get the rumble going.

    So I try to replicate (more or less) what you were doing, but I am (and was immediately) confused by what you do on the 106. Unfortunately is can't be heard in isolation, but I don't understand the combination of the arpeggiator and playing only one note. Arpeggios are about broken chords, aren't they? Could you do a under-4-minute video of adding this synth track (maybe including the sound beyond picking a preset called techno to make it sound techno, I work with the TAL-UNO)?

    • @LNADoesAudioStuff
      @LNADoesAudioStuff  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Having just one note gives the note in a first place rhythm, and by suing the arpeggiator controls you can create the harmonic pattern without doing the harmonic chord beforehand :) Good luck with it!

  • @rac06oon
    @rac06oon 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    nice one LNA !!!! also you can put on the 2nd chorus late in time claps I don't know the right terminology(Maybe its polyrhythmic pattern stuff) but they are not like the claps/snares on a house track. they are later/earlier for example of 1.4 or 1.2 a lot and that gives a very nice vibe....if you have a time to listen an Amelie's live at Atomium in Brussels you gonna understand. Thank you for the inspiration and the simplicity....cause I am on creative block situation.
    edit: they are not all the times claps they can be claps layered with different percussive sounds...but in a lot dark techno tracks they using only claps too

    Yeah techno d'troit 89 summer of love Acieeed! okay techno became something that was 4 to the floor which really belongs to Chicago house 88 yeah acid house was the crossover BUT! proper dtroit techno original techno was a syncopated beat more jazz than disco rhythms weaving themselves inbetweeen and into each other what I used to love was the bleeps from computers and industrial machines and the sound of the blacksmith bangin' metal. The box sounds hitting the inside of the box with a little bit of echo.
