What a hard worker you are!! I am 71 and most of the time FULL of energy, because I don’t like to sit around, but this made me tired. 😂 I enjoyed every minute..God bless.
I had to sneak watching your video for a mental break while babysitting my 3 year old grandson. I can only get him to watch you (or "Lisa") if he sees your kids or especially the baby. He loves babies! We were especially mesmerized by the shredding zucchini, he told me that you have to be very careful of your fingers. lol have a great weekend!
Thanks for the motivation! First trimester nausea has been rough, but after watching your video I was able to throw together a quick bone broth soup and corn bread. It’s also 100* here, but soup is easy and quick. 🙃
Your videos are so restful and interesting. The elk burgers sound delicious and all the bread, ice cream etc. You really take care of your family. Take care🎉
Cute and functional apron, delicious home made food❤, clean as you go. I'm so glad your air is fixed! Did you get a new brighter light above the stove? The lighting was all good!
Some babies just take longer to eat solid food than others but I remember used to make baby food and used expressed breastmilk as the liquid to soften the food...expressed with a breast pump and then stored the milk in freezer bags or sandwich bags; stores up to a year in the freezer but can easily be placed in the fridge and used in the week
In the summer I cook our rice in bone broth or I make a one pot pasta and use bone broth to cook the noodles in since you don't strain them. Good alternatives to soup in the summer
I love your videos but I’d like to see your family eating around the table. I feel like I’m missing something after watching the videos. It would be nice to see everyone together
When I have a lo of zucchini I stuff it. There are a lot of recipes on line for different types of stuffings. Our favorites are Italian and Mexican stuffing.
I am new to your channel and I'm enjoying it so much! I would like to know where you found your mixing bowl. I love its neutral color and its size. ~Sherry
You encourage me to cook with new cuts of meat. I recently subscribed to butcher box, since I’m in the city there aren’t farms nearby to source meat. My steaks tend to come out overdone, so I’m still learning. Practice makes perfect 😅
Happy you got your a/c fixed, I know how it is with no cool air. I love your blue floral plates. Any where to purchase these? I make cornbread and beans in summer as well. Your kitchen is so pretty and nice!
All your meals look so tasty. I am a one person house so most of your recipes are too big for me. But I get great ideas so thank you for that. Can you tell us where you got your super cute apron?
@@ouroilyhouse Thank you! Also, wanted to say thanks for the after sun spray recipe you posted a while ago. I came across it, recently when my daughter got sunburned and it helped soooo much. I’m thankful to have this ongoing. Love the suggestion to refrigerate it for extra comfort and quick relief.
You are like my mom, "let's eat beef soup we need more nutrients"😅 definitely not my style as I'm very sensitive to heat but we do eat a lot of vegetables which i cook with bone broth🫠😄
My babies are the same, they rather eat solids later than most. It seems like they want to have most of their teeth before haha. Out of my 7 only 1 ate around the time it’s normal.
No ice cream maker in description…..is it a Cuisinart ? What size……I bought a 4 qrt Pioneer Woman from Walmart on sale for $20….but it’s takes ice and salt which is fine when grd kiddos are over but I’d like to have one like yours for easy ice cream….my husband eats two fudge bars everyday and I’d like to have a healthier homemade choc treat for him to eat.
Have you thought about freeze drying your extra squashes? I’m sure your sister would allow you to run some trays thru… My X husband has a dehydrator he isn’t using but won’t allow my daughters to use it saying it costs too much electric….yes, his own kids ….now you know why he’s my X. I love my Excalibur …I can’t afford a freeze drier…..but people have found dehydrators in second hand shops….. I had a Nesco Garden Master and I liked it but it burned where the heating element was and luckily I smelled it……no Nesco would not replace it since warranty was up a month…… Even this new one I won’t let it run all night just scared… A lot of people are making dehydrated zucchini into flour…..worth a try.
You should try to get a sponsor from Jeremy’s instead. My husband and son used them and found them really good, BUT they went woke crazy so we cancelled them. Love seeing you and your sister handling your home so beautifully and so easily and effortlessly. 😊
@@ouroilyhousewell I absolutely LOVE your voice. I’ve always love voices like that. Demi Moore comes to mind, and many others. It reminds me of country, a good American rock song… I don’t know, it’s awesome!

Tip for zucchini, it shreds wonderfully with food processor and so do carrots.

Happy Friday Laura, family, and fur babies. STTB

Hi Laura. I admire everything you do for your lifestyle and your family. I noticed that you don’t have a dishwasher? Is it by choice?
I do have a dishwasher, but never use it. I think it's faster to do it by hand.

Yea!
When you use lard in your fryer do you have to throw it out when you are done??
Nope! We use it for several weeks or until it runs out. We store it in the fridge.
