It took me 3 of these to shave once

I have used a Trac II razor I recently picked up and the clogging is borderline ridiculous. Also, I agree that one pass is not enough but that didn’t used to be the case. When I was a cartridge shaver I only ever did one pass with a bit of cleanup on my neck. Now that I’m a traditional shaver I always go for BBS. Thanks for the video!

How was the shave for the Trac II? Was it close and comfortable? I was thinking about getting that razor

@@jetsfan4277 I saw a gently used one on eBay for like $10 plus it was lime green so I couldn’t say no. It had original new but ancient blades with it which I tried. It was a decent shave but I wanted to try new blades so I got some Personna cartridges, like 10 for $8 I believe. It was a much better shave. I still prefer safety razors but it is fun to mix it up. I also had never used a cartridge with a fixed head. I’m used to pivoting which is so forgiving. This one still requires some finesse which makes it an interesting combination of safety razor and cartridge razor.

Hey Dave why don’t you do electric razor shave??

I will. I tried doing one a year or so ago, but I couldn’t get enough of a charge and it died less than 1/2 way through the video. The video never made it up.

What do you do with all the unused shave foam cans, disposable razors and cheap aftershave?

I keep them. Either I use them, or my girlfriend uses them. Sometimes I give them away. I’ll often do more than one shave with them or even if I don’t, I’ll use them for quick and dirty shaves. I prefer double edge razor and good creams/soaps and aftershaves, but I use all kinds. I like having a few in my collection at all times.

Did you get any razor burn or irritation?

@@TheDaveShaves It looked liked a pretty good shave, I’ll have to try it again. Last time I used it I got a little bit of irritation

It was a pretty good shave. I do recommend giving it another try. However, I don’t know what kind of soaps or creams you typically use, but I would recommend using higher quality products; that should help you better shave out of it.

@@TheDaveShaves I used the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Sensitive Gel. I’m not sure how that compares to other shaving cream/gel/soap out there
