De Grasse is THE MAN! A legend! I swear! This race gave me chills. Congratulations Canada 🎉
From the Middle East and I want to repeat this channel to watch it on TV, God willing, I hope you help me??
You know if USA put its best team together it wins by a bunch
USA better yall got lucky usa last hand off was horrible
@@michaelj8777 in see
@@michaelj8777 Luck favours the prepared. If y’all better you would have won. The better team won 🤷🏽♀️
The slow-motion on the exchanges really lets you see just how important a smooth transition can make, or break a tight race.
No one fucks up a baton exchange like us, NO ONE!
@@tima.478…well, that’s an achievement, isn’t it??👀💀😊
@@tima.478you are right 🙁. The US has a history of terrible baton exchanges.
@@evansusmc Yep...thanks. ✌

De grasse is a Canadian legend 😊
His deffo down in history
De grasse et autres de familles ancestral du canada.
@@Tyfromc he truly is the greatest canadian sprinter in modern times. the country absolutely loves him.
Nope, he is a world legend
One relay gold and y’all be delusional😂🤣USA still won the most medals🙌
De grass is such a clutch athlete!! Delivers on big occasion and high pressure situations!!
Proud Jamaican/Canadian!🇯🇲🇨🇦
For those saying the US is a better team than Canada if it weren't for the last handoff, do you even know that the exchange is also a part of the race? Canada was the best team at this final heat, through and through. Impressive form by DeGrasse.
Last hand off? It was all 3 hand offs that were rough.
@@evansusmc2nd to 3rd was good
@@kingdez9934 eh not really
@@evansusmc lol ok
@@evansusmcsecond one was good. Looking in slow minor looks like Noah didn’t get out early enough to match Coleman’s speed, and Elijah Hall didn’t place the baton in Bracy’s hand. Though Bracy put his hand back quick.
DeGrasse really went beast mode
That side camera angle, them boys were stepping out!!!
Looking forward to Degrasse getting is form back! This was amazing!! Love it!! Even that 3rd leg runner for Canada shouting to Degrasse... I mean I felt that! USA didnt expect that! Well done Great Britain.
That last handoff did the USA in
Yep!
De grasse was like "I'm going home with something" 😅
"I'm from around the way" 😂
😂😂Denzel Washington would approve
DeGrasse and the Canadian Relay Team..... freakin' brilliant!!!! Go Canada GO----- !!!!!! 🤩😍😎💪🏃🥇🍁
No upset. Execution. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
That 2nd leg from Zharnell Hughes 🇬🇧🔥
De grasse… my all time favourite ❤❤❤
The USA continuing its long time tradition of screwing up its 4x100 relays. It doesn’t help that the rest of the world outside of Jamaica is catching up, with several African and European countries running as fast as ever. Even Brazil who’s only getting faster (they currently have an 18 year old who’s run 10.01 this year that nobody is paying attention to).
Edit: The Brazilian athlete is actually 19, U20.
Damn 10.01 at 18?? What’s his name?
Exactly, you would think after 2016 bolt era they would dominate, as they have the best team in paper. They only won once out of a possible 4 major championship since 2016.
The formula at Doha was thrown out the window...Lyles is your closer. How many times does this have to be proven??
WHO IS THE KID?!!
Can't forget China and Japan, they have low 4x100m PBs and sub 10 runners
Lyles needs to anchor this team!
Lyles
That's what I said....🙏💪
Usa need Kerley
Doesn’t matter who the anchor is if they keep fumbling the changeovers.
@@Njabuloseh facts
Oh, the look on the American’s faces.
Priceless.
De Grasse… Literal chills bruh. Mans is unbeatable on the anchor.
Congratulations to my Ghana 🇬🇭 peeps
Way to go Canada 🇨🇦!!
Proud of our guys!! Good on all the competitors as there is a whole lot of hard work that goes into competing at the top of the world. Enjoy the success as you worked hard for it.
The Brazilian dude funny af..thought they got third the way he was thanking God.
🤣
canada works on their hand offs constantly together unlike the other teams
Needed Lyles on that anchor leg. Well done Canada!!!
Brilliant team effort! Exceptional exchanges. Great job by the athletes but also Coach Gilbert and the whole support team.
The USA didn't have too bad of changeovers. I think Canada really outdid themselves. Beating an American team that set their season's best isn't a walk in the park
Fortunately for us, the relay is a team event and we were the better team. Individually, they got smoked in 2022. Degrasse was way off his game.
@@davemarchildon2583 I wonder why? The man had covid, then injuries. What do you expect? It doesn't matter who the sprinter is, when things like that happen, you can't train.
Elijah Hall waa flying on that 3rd leg my GOD! HE COULDN'T CONTROL THE BATON!
This is for team Canada 🇨🇦 because yes I agree
De grasse ❤️❤️
USA not able to mow down De Grasse! 😂
Not an upset but a brilliant win by Canada. Yeah baby! Damn straight. We get the job done without any fanfare. Well done Canada 🇨🇦.
Definitely an upset lol 😂😂
Definitely the talent for canadians is there but speed wise can't touch USA that's the sad reality. DeGrass the only athlete that made the podium.
I would say Jamaica is the country that owns speed. Both women and men. Those guys are unmatched.
What would it take for the men to show up and win this 4x100- what do they need for the hand offs to be correct?
@@jurseygurl7549 are you serious? Have you been watching track and field for the last couple of years?
Great run!! Canada❤❤
OMG. It's incredible how the US women's squad passes the baton so crisp and seamlessly but the men continue to stifle their speed with terrible exchanges. I really can't understand this trend at their level of experience. Lyles got out too late & Bracy got out too soon. Coleman set the table perfectly like he always does..
Do you know how many things every male athlete / team does better than every female athlete squad year after year after year?🤣 Do you ever hear such a goofy comparison? #QuitWhiteKnighting
Look at the history. The US women have had some rough hand offs also. And a couple dropped batons.
@@THEbeautifuLIE Yeah I know perfectly, expertly well, considering I actually ran and excelled on the 4x100 & 4x400 (among other individual events) at the college level as opposed to your never-accomplished-nuthin in athletics, ignorant TH-cam expert @-$-$!! LOL!! You type people never know who you're exposing your stupidity to... And I also know perfectly well, how plagued the USA men's 4x100 squad has been by horrible 6th grade level baton passing execution lately; in contrast to the women who usually execute it in perfect progression more often than not. BTW, TheBeautifulLie perfectly describes your intellect on this matter. Now mute yourself on the subject Whiteknight! LMAO!
@@evansusmc They definitely have. It happens to everyone eventually for a multitude of reasons; at their level it's frequently due to a throttled up mix of uncontrolled anxiety and adrenaline igniting when you see your teammate approaching and misjudge his speed as he's approaching in a tight race and you 'get out' too early, accelerating too fast. I've fallen victim to this a couple of times back in my day in big races as the 3rd leg man, hyper aware that I was the final 'setup man' responsible for making sure our 'closer' got the stick in best position for victory. Just seems the women's team is executing their passes more precisely, more consistently than the men lately; for whatever reason... One factor could be the men seem to swap & mixup their lineups for the finals more frequently than the women which can definitely create the type of problems they've been having.
@@baihu4u good explanation man. Good insight

De grasse is so humble and speedy

Maann.. the grasp little delay impacted so huge.
Very impressed by degrasse

Waiting for this banger dammmmmm!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The USA is blessed to have so many sprinters who can run in the 9.8 range, and ALL of these usually anchor what ever relay they run in their respective regions. They usually receive the baton from a very good runner who runs 10.10, or maybe 10.0?. The US is also a very huge country so these great runners come from all over the country and don't get to practice together for an extended time before a competition. If you've never seen a 9.88 coming at you, full speed, knees pumping and arms swinging, it's hard to imagine the power and speed of these athletes.Imagine Christian Coleman coming off the curve right at you.!!!!!!
Good description, but you’re not suppose to see that.. you should have timed the baton pass and already be on your way (created a momentum), hand at the back ready for the baton.
@@modimmusic9571darn baton passes 😤
They spend too much time worrying about everyone from Jamaica 😂😅
I know thats a frustrating loss. Being a few inches behind and not being able to close in the gap no matter how hard u push nor is he pulling away from you, your just stuck and cant do anything about it.. that feeling is incomparable
The Canadians stepped into the American's living room and put their feet up on the couch... again. Donovan Bailey styled them on anchor. now DeGrasse.
Yesssss Ghana 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
LETS GOOOO CANADA!!!
We love him proud to be Canadian Africa
This is a show of Africa's children living in South America, the Caribbean, The U.S., Great Britain, Canada and Europe. Whereever we live, 'others' seek to discriminate us because of their insecurities. Yet, in the words of Maya Angelou, "We rise". These men on the track are all winners. Africa wins, again.
I was hoping that the representatives from my country of birth would have taken the gold. Still, there are other chances ahead. Congratulations to all 32 Champions on the field.
We are ALL African by decent when you look at it, it's only a question of how far back.
Bolt was the legend
Canada america cant beat him 10years
Muito bom mesmo manda mais vídeos ❤
STOP PLAYING WITH DEGRASSE!!! ITS THEM PUMAS! I NEED HIM BACK AT 100% SO HE CAN GIVE LYLES A RIN FOR HIS MONEY IN THE 200M!

That was an amazing relay…so much happened
After all those time DeGrasse was denied 👌🏽😩 well done also to Prescod for holding that third place. Whoever it was that decided for Lyles to not achor needs to be fired 😂

My question is, why wasn't KERLEY and BROMMEL in this race, instead of Lyles and Hall?!
Coleman
Bracy-Williams
Brommel
Kerley
The Brazilian guy is still praying 🙏🏿
Lol
For both the Canadian and the Great Britain teams, you might as well call them "the Jamaican transplant teams." Both teams are filled with 1st Generation athletes whose parents were born in Jamaica.
I ran the last bend slower than they expected.
What difference does it make if they're born in Canada vs 2nd/3rd gen?
yeah its almost like its based on nationality
@@scottishbarnss You know exactly what it means.
So how many generations removed does an athlete need to be before they properly represent their own country? All of the American relay members have African ancestry, so are they African transplants?
Canada w/ more efficient handoff but Degrasse held serve down the stretch.
De Grasse is the hero!
The yell said it all after the exchange to de grasse
If he's in front, he's not going to get caught.
Go Canada! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Awesome 🤩
Who was guy in third leg for Canada 🇨🇦? He went beast mode. 😮😮
Ya, my wife and I were laughing at the way he was just screaming at DeGrasse after the handoff.
It was Brendon Rodney! It was an awesome leg for sure, gave DeGrasse a chance to lay down his signature anchor.
Noah Lyle's should have ran last leg
Congrats Canada
The third guy for USA was fast, holy hell!
Congratulations to the winning African team.
Bracy is fast but he ain't catching Degrasse
We suppose to be number 1 but what accomplishment to be second in the world!!!
Congrats let’s get ‘em again
South Africa 🇿🇦 👏 well done Canada 🎉
Simbine went crazy on that final leg but he had too much to do. Well done to Canada, De Grasse is a winner when it matters.
After Bolt, i think we all knew de grasse would dominate the 200, even bolt acknowledged his ability, now that he's winning relays too, feels good smh
Lyles is 200m king
I don’t know what world you’re living in but de grasse is not dominating the 200 in the slightest
Biggest mistake was not letting Lyles anchor. Only Lyles’ top end speed trumps DeGrasse’s
It was the usual sloppy passing…don’t you think?
@@rayre3617 It almost always ends like this for the US. Brazil is improving significantly and then of course, there's Japan who pass the baton like absolute robots.
It´s remarkable how long Rodney "pushes" his teammate after the pass, he keeps running and yelling for quite long. Far longer than the other runners. Psyhology of the team.
Bad hands off for the USA, Yet, my hats off to Canada.
Team 🇺🇸 would have won if that last pass had gone well.
Ya, that one was a hot mess.
Degrasse is still a force
@@OkieDoke405 He is!
@binkyxz3 I know it's in the moment. But what was that?
DeGrasse pasted him. Had nothing to do with the baton pass.
US’s anchor got ate down quick!! US gotta train up a better 4th leg for sure
That was a team win tbh.. that Final hand off was better by Canada.
The USA had the faster team, but failed on that final handoff.
So De Grasse got a flying start, while the USA stalled their flying start and momentum with poor delayed handoff.
We would see them neck and neck at the finish line otherwise..
De Grasse did his thing though, he wasn't going to be ran down.
The Best Canada...
I am going start ma life in Canada
