This video explains what humidity does to hair, it explains how wet bulb thermometers work and it explains about the differences in clouds and dew and such. It doesn't actually explain what humidity is though...
Thank you for a solid description tied to evap/cond rates. YT had just sent me down a rabbit hole of several Humidity explainers by non-meteorologists. If I had a nickel for every time I heard "air is a sponge"... sheesh.
That is fascinating, Again it is amazing what the body can actually do, I looked because today and the last few days its been horrible, Been sweating like stupid, And a neighbors said he been the same, So had to look it up, I can understand why the body feels horrible when it is humid, Great for detox then, lol.... I do know it wasn't like this when I was a kid, The older I have got the more I notice blimps in the weather getting worse, In other words the weather is getting worse....
Well, that was definitely an extremely interesting video I’m glad I didn’t miss! Excellent Aidan, very informative and explains why, at certain times, I get such changes in my hair. Very many thanks indeed.
So humidity is measuring the moisture water in the air. So for example if you go to the Amazon rain forest there will be high amounts of moisture in the air like when you have a shower and the walls condensate with water. If you go to Alaska where it’s cold you’ll have less moisture in the air and your skin may crack because of it. Heat brings moisture cold brings dry. Hotter it is outside more moisture there will be in the air. Our bodies cool off by sweating the heat in being released through the sweat and then the cold air drys the sweat but if it’s hot outside with high humidity when we sweat to cool off the water dosnt get evaporated so it holds the heat and we feel hotter. Just remember humidity is moister in the air.
It’s moister in the air. So it’s like when you have a shower and the walls condensate with water or when it rains and your car windows condensate. When it’s winter time there’s low humidity because cold air is dense and dry where hot air is wet and moist. Hotter it is the more moisture there is colder less.
Humidity is moisture in the air. Just remember when it’s cold outside the air is dense and dry when it’s hot it’s wet and moist. A comfortable humidity is between 30% and 50% and less then 30% it’s to dry and anything higher then 50% it’s to wet.
I still don't know what humidity is...
😂😂
Me tooo! This is way advanced
Same here😢
Water in the air, 100% humidity is rain
Me too

It's water in the air. As I type this I just realized you may be joking 🙃 lol
Glad I wasn't alone
Why do I feel "I can understand it but I cannot understand" vibe

The best thing about humidity is that it can lead into convection, which brings us rain and thunderstorms!
Humidity,
Decreases heat dissipation in the air
Decreases Temperature change in the air
Decreases evaporation
Best explain Thank you Sir Good day
I am loving these videos and out the weather 🌦️- they’re so interesting.
This video is too good to have so few views

Best to learn about humidity from a meteorologist. Thanks

What happens when the environment is reduced and it's at 100 % humidity; will the humidity be forced to merge and become water?
I don't understand , someone please explan in simple English

So the higher the humidity (dryer) the worst it first for hot weather ?
Headline of the video is misleading 😂
Explaination is for every thing except humidity
What is humidity?
Please🙏
didn't he explained in the video?
In simple term the amount of water vapour present in the atmosphere hope you understand ..

Very informative!

No person knows
Amount of water droplets present in the atmosphere is called humidity
Is it possible to set 0 Humidity at 70 c temperature??
This doesn't explain what humidity is!

Your explanation is great

Wow😮😮😮😮
I couldn't understand the real thing humidity. It just speaks a lot in fast British English without pausing and explaining slowly. Not good.

Me too😂
Terrible video. Still don't understand

Get to the point
What ate you talking about.. glad you're not a teacher
Simple humidity is moister in the air the colder it is the airs more dry the hotter it is the airs more wet.
