Political and Cultural Geography of Uruguay

This video takes the viewer on a trip across the Uruguayan geography. It looks at four main regions and discusses their historical, economic and cultural importance. It discuses the way in which its location between Brazil and Argentina gave rise to constant conflict that eventually gave rise to it as an independent country. It looks at some of its most important attractions like Colonia and Punta del Este and of course at Montevideo, its capital and main city.

I'm in Uruguay right now and thought one of the guards inside the Artigas Masoleum's a statue until he blinked after I looked at him for a good while. Talk about discipline!
