Thank you for this tutorial. I was working on this and following the directions from the pattern and for the first time I was about to give up on it. The directions and template for the fusible lining were very confusing. Your tutorial saved me. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial. Shabby Fabric does them the best with no repetition and conserves time by having much of the sewing done ahead. I appreciate that.. Thank you to Poor House Quilt Design for allowing you to produce this video. I love this basket.
I have been SO interested in how these cute little baskets come together. Thank you Shabby Fabrics for the video. Super cute idea and I can't wait to make them!
Thank you for a great video - very easy to follow. I hope you keep them coming. I can see a lot of uses around the house for these and they will also make great gift baskets filled with all sorts of goodies. 💕
This is such cute pattern! I can see me adjusting height and width to accommodate my fabric scraps and pre cut squares and HST'S! Thank you so very much for another great tutorial! ;)
@@lauriemyers3 Go for it! I do Christmas cookies every year, but I usually use the cute little clothes boxes or cookie trays, which I'm sure they have plenty of trays by now. Love the idea of these instead!
That would be the sweetest gift (pun intended)! Then they could use the basket for storage after the cookies are gone (which would take about 2 minutes in my house. haha). - Morgan
Great, easy to understand, already purchased the pattern, now I feel confident about tackling the pattern, her other patterns (Poorhouse) are great as well..thank you for making this !!

Such a cute project with so many uses - I'm thinking a trio in my master bath armoire for custom organization that nicely hides smaller items and looks great at the same time. Thank you for another great tutorial!
I shared my basket on all of my sewing and quilting groups, a lot of people asked where I got the pattern. Hopefully you’ll see many more sales for it.

Hi again! I have bought the patterns for this basket and for the scalloped placemats and I’m looking forward to making them. Thanks for showing us how to make such beautiful items. 🌸🌸
We haven't had any problem with that on our cutting mat, and we use it like this weekly. At home, you could just pop your mat on your ironing board and that will work just fine! :) - Morgan
Kathy Malmquist you are correct. The heat does go through, I learned the hard way. Now I iron on a separate space to avoid any heat on my cutting mat, it causes damage and won’t lie flat

Do you use a shorter switch length when going around the scallops?

Why is a double sided fusible needed when the second side is never used?
This product comes double-sided and has multiple uses. (We've used it in bag and placemat tutorials.) In this case, we didn't need the other side, but in other projects it's useful. :) - Morgan
Are you using a walking foot to sew the 2 thicknesses together?
I used my walking foot.
We used the Dual Feed on the Bernina. If you have a walking foot, we do recommend using it so it's easier to sew those layers together. :) - Morgan
