what is the measurements of the fabric?
I have already mentioned it in the video clip. This video clip is the beginning of my TH-cam career. Video clips will be very fast. which I will slow down in the next video clip. 42 cm x 26 cm = 16 1/2 x 10 1/4 inch
6 cm = 2 3/8 inch

Hi. What size should the fabric be for a basket that is 25" long, 20" broad and 9" height, please? How do you decide the size of the square? Is there a ratio? 🙏
I saw a lady taper pieces of paper and experiment so that’s what I’ve been doing and you can figure it all out instead of ruining fabric or using your fabric to experiment

@WandeeEasySewing~ I love the extra detail you did stitching the lines of the boxed side seams! Very pretty basket! It looks like you used a woven interface on the lining, like Pellon SF101. May I ask though, which type of stabilizer you used on the main outside fabric? It looks medium-firm density because it holds its shape, but not so stiff that it is hard to work with. I have some Sew-In Pellon Peltex 70 Extra Firm Stabilizer... but it seems to be much firmer than what you used.

I used thick virane glue on the outside ( 80sp). thank you for watching.
There is no way with hand arthritis that I could pull the basket through that little opening. I would do it the same way I make my tote bags, leave outside basket facing out, and the inside lining facing out, nestle them together (wrong sides together) and sew across the top. No hand sewing or turning required.

I'm sorry I don't know the brand of the fusible interfacing Actually, I bought it from a handicraft material shop, 10 meters each time, the seller cut it for me. No brand informed me. I'm really sorry Next time I'll ask and get an answer. Thank you for watching ,Thank you so much.

Hi, I want to adjust this pattern to make it slightly wider. I would like the basket to be 16cm wide to be precise. How would I increase the size of fabric used to the size of the square you cut out (the 6cm)?
