Poco has done it again. I was using the F3 before and skipped the F4 because the specs increase was marginal. Then I got the F5 thinking the F6 would be marginally upgraded like before. Boy, I was wrong.

An F3 onwer (no games, just ordinary stuff, social media using, or just gaming at medium low settings) has no really motivations to buy F6, also thanks to HyperOS update for F3 it can last 1 more year with updates and invest on F7 (If it'll be worth). I just changed because i mostly play games and I lack of moneys (Actually 8 Gen 3 Is far way better than other Snapdragon's little brothers, for "Just" 600€ Is possible afford a smartphone with It, Imho the smartest invest...) with "Just" 350€ i bought F6 (best choice for game overall for this price range, 0 regrets and 300€ saved for a LOWER but more than good gaming experience compared with 8 Gen 3) then i gifted F3 to my brother in law cause he had Samsung J6+...
I bought the Poco X6 Pro 12gig 512gig. 2-29-24. From Amazon 1 day delivery. To replace my Poco X3 GT had it for over 2 1/2 years. Redmi Turbo 3 same as the Poco F6 but cheaper. Can't use Redmi phones here in the USA, to many problems. Poco X6 Pro Great value for the Money 💰. No problems with 5g or anything else. I live in Chicago USA.
F5 was crazy for its price can run various emul'tor just fine , definitely worth my money , hell even being able to run Warzone already exceeded my expectation

Poco F6 Pro is currently the best priced phone. Flagship build quality, metal frame. Very good camera. Additionally, very fast 120W charging. It is definitely better to add money to the F6 Pro than to buy the F6.The additional one has a great Oled 2k screen and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which has a significantly more powerful GPU than Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and performs better in games.
@@SlimJim3082 Poco F6 has a plastic frame, F6 Pro has a metal frame and nothing is made of plastic. Gorilla Glass 5 is still great and has been since the beginning foil protection on the screen. Overall, the F6 Pro is a better choice than the F6.
Watching on Poco F5, i know it's not necessary to upgrade just yet, real happy with th F5, but the upgrades the performance, ram and storage makes me consider for F6, but I'll think about it

In this situation the more you get selling It more worthy the upgrade will be. 2) Imho smartest choice. Treat that jewel in the most comfort way and It will last 2+ Years even with 3.1 UFS. Oneplus Ace 3 way is better in terms of raw performance, as good as Redmi K70, but if you dont like curve screen then Poco F6 or Redmi K70 is your choice since both phone have similir price, at least here in SEA regions
No. MediaTek lacks of CPU performances, games are not optimized as Snapdragon, battery drain and heat issues. X6 pro there 286€ F6 356€, F6 Is just a better solution even for only gaming.
Actually the F6 is quite affordable considering the processor and overall specs. If you want something less expensive than yes the X6 pro is probably your best power bet.

It's lighting. You can either make it look whiteish, silver, copperish, or as they call it titanium. Expect it to look anything between silver to copper color.
If the edge 50 fusion is 20-30% cheaper then you should go for it in my opinion, I was stuck between those two for a bit aswell but I'd settled on the F6 because its value was better and it seemed like it would be more future-proof Hopefully I won't regret it

I haven't gotten any updates since the big Hyper OS update for February. I doubt they'll be anymore based on my experiences with Poco phones in the past. The OS update is usually the last one I gotten. Who knows for sure though.
The Poco F6 is objectively better. IP64 vs IP54, Gorilla Glass Victus Vs GG5, Bluetooth 5.4 Vs 5.3. The F6 Pro doesn't even have wireless charging to brag about like the F5 Pro did. It does have the better main camera though.
Another thing going for the f6 pro is the compatibility with 32 bit apps, since it still has cortex a510/a710 it still can run really old apps that weren't updated to work on 64 bit processors, while the normal f6 can't anymore due to the 8s gen 3 not being compatible anymore
I plan on switching because the phone seems like it's about to die, like the poco x3 problem. Seems a lot of F3's have this issue. Back everything up and save the F6 on your favourite online store.
No 3.5 earphones jack are the only one holding me back from buying it. Didn't really like the pro version camera placement, guess had to wait for POCO F7

Performance is good, battery is not:)) also gets very hot and stop charging, when I used it in my car for gps. Plastic frame is rubbish, no heat disipation
Poco series has never focused on camera. They're improving it, but they'll never make it better than Xiaomi T series, or even their budget Redmi series as that'll cannibalize sales of their devices.
Hello. With the Poco F6 I'm more interested if the nonstop focus hunting when recording a video (using the main camera) is still present or has been improved since? Are colours on the main and selfie camera show natural, true to life colours the way you see in real life? Is there still skin smoothing on the selfie camera? And are the front & rear cameras HDR been improved as well? I have the OnePlus 10T and not sure if I'll trade in or not.
Cameras aren't the focus of this phone, so if you want better camera you should spend more money and get something like Vivo IQOO 12 or Neo 9. This phone is about speed.

Apart from the plastic build, the normal F6 has better IP rating , better Gorilla Glass victus2 protection.

Poco f3 user here works flawlessly and i love it, but i think there is no more securety updates, if so is it time to upgrade to the F6?
Just got upgraded couple weeks ago to Hyper OS with February security patch, I think there's still more to come
Keep It up until updates comes, and then upgrade with this at lesser price :)
F3 final updates are in 2024, won't be more after this though there might be an extra security patch depending on whether its needed.

Hello. With the Poco F6 I'm more interested if the nonstop focus hunting when recording a video (using the main camera) is still present or has been improved since?
Are colours on the main and selfie camera show natural, true to life colours the way you see in real life?
Is there still skin smoothing on the selfie camera?
And are the front & rear cameras HDR been improved as well?
I have the OnePlus 10T and not sure if I'll trade in or not.
Cameras aren't the focus of this phone, so if you want better camera you should spend more money and get something like Vivo IQOO 12 or Neo 9. This phone is about speed.
