Very nice coverage. This is the only upcoming game left that I'm considering backing this year (of course that could change with more announcements). I find the card play interesting. I find the app and timer concerning. I'm just not sure that it fits my play style. I'll be following this one closely. Go on board has already stated that the app isn't required, but we'll see how that impacts gameplay. I also appreciate that this is scenario based, instead of campaign. That makes things much easier for me.
This game is a waste of the IP. Could’ve been so much better if another company designed it without the use of that dam timer. The timer just hides the mediocre gameplay. Gives you no time whatsoever to plan/strategise. 👎👎👎pass! Just my opinion.
sounds like some app changes could fix the flaws. like only have the timer for sections of play where there's an actual time crunch or vary the amount of time available based on game state. the app could also be more interactive and take the role of the decker/fixer as if they were on the phone giving directions, hacking objectives, passing on info, etc.
Thanks, Bryan, for a very substantive video! We can't spoil much, but we're pretty sure that our game will meet your ideas and expectations :D We've got plenty of diverse missions that will scale up the challenge and bring even more Cyberpunk themes into it. Enjoy your stay in Night City!
Thanks for the preview. I am 100% backing. ALL IN. You did a great job covering the mechanics. The enemy damage rollers also do a great job of keeping the live timer action flowing without spending too much time with damage tokens. I am a fan of the iP, and a fan of Go On Board's execution for Witcher The Old World (WtoW) Board Game. They did a great job with the narrative, deckbuilding, character building, and player interactions and sharing in the gameplay. WtoW is a boss battling/hunting/deckbuilding choose you own adventure with amazing additional expansions. It appears that Go On Board have given as much attention to detail here too. They are definitely fans of Cyberpunk and CD Projekt Red. I would be very interested in seeing a gameplay video from you on this one.
Thanks for the coverage, I was surprised this was up when I visited the campaign page and the launch is in 48 days. I will most likely back this, love the IP and am a fan of the old world board game they did. I think they will lose some potential backers because of the timer aspect.
Appreciate the video. Is it me, or even at %100 you sound a bit muffled/quiet. Like you sound clear, easy to understand, but your mic feels like it's a behind the wall.
I have the decibels turned down a bit to protect your ears, but it should still be good. Have you tried turning it up a bit? Still muffled? I use a shotgun mic that is placed above my head.
@@GameBrigade I'm not using fancy headset, just built in Monitor mics, and it was a bit hard to hear. When I switch to phone, and cranked up the volume it was great. I checked a few of your other videos - mainly "Current Top 10 Board Games I Can't Stop Playing" (3 months old) and one from few years ago, and and volume there is great. As I mentioned, video is great, using stronger speakers could bypass the problem, just a shame that to finish this video I had to switch to the phone.
This is kinda how i run my sessions with the ttg. Just with less objects and no cards. I wonder what the maps or levels look like. I already fear seeing repeatitve layouts. The objectives seem repetitive. The game sure is a handful, literally. Im curious to see a solo play. I definitely want to see more of the weapons. What i dont like is seeing that the stats are not consistent or carry over. I guess its something id need to get used to.
Thank you guys for watching the video! What are your thoughts on Cyberpunk? Are you planning on backing it?
I'd like to but I am undecided still
This single video explained the game better than watching 15 of the actual developer's videos.
I really appreciate that comment. Thank you for watching!

Had a lot of fun playing this prototype, really looking forward to the campaign

Make sure to use my link and click follow. I think they have a free reward if you follow the campaign early.

I've backed, but I'm a little worried about the timer scaring off my players, or forcing me to alpha-game the whole thing 🤔

i heard you can change the your paths in the stories (so you will not end up with the video game scenario).
i am wondering, do you like the aspect?
Timer seems unnecessary
Were you suppose to post this already? Campaign isn’t until September and your intro sounds like this would be for during the campaign.
Thought the same thing... I appreciate it though!
It's when our embargo ended. We are able to post our videos from yesterday up until the campaign launch date
I like the low player downtime. The timer keeps things moving.
It’s an easy pass for me. What a waste of a great IP…
Not interested in this game at all.
Why is that?
@@MichaelAW17 nothing special here IMO except more of the CP2077 thematic. Based on gameplay, there are many better games than this one out there IMO.
@@Deltium5683 I definitely need to see more and how they handle the other scenarios.
@GameBrigade that's what I want to know too.
