She asks him for his name and he says i’m naofumi iwatani the shield hero. Her eyes widen are you really the shield hero? Ya. After all this time her prayers have been answered. After many trials he is brought to his knees in anguish and rage, lost everything again, but she stands and walks and demonizes the spear hero for cheating then hugs her hero giving back what he gave her a shoulder to cry on then promises to never leave his side and his sword. As they journey onward her feelings grow, but he never noticed because he has no intention of seeking love or affection just away home to the world that he was forced to leave without consent. Even though he is cold he gives warmth to those close to him without knowing it. His kind nature will always show itself to those who choose to fallow him.
