It makes my day to see someone so happy and healthy. British engineering at its finest. Well done Andrew for supporting Brompton Limited and for giving yourself and us a big dose of pure joy. Have fun AND take care out there. Simon
Brilliant Andrew can’t wait to see more videos, I’ve just bought myself a 70th birthday present a flame lacquer c line electric you’re an inspiration thank you. I’m also a widower and needed a kick up the backside to get off my arse and move on thanks again lol!
As an owner of a now much former than SuperlightM6LXBrompton, from 2019, I honestly wondered for what use I had the low gears, of my 6, till I met an absurd hill during a vacation, and had to walk on top, going up? It has now been rebuilt to below 9 kilo, still with mudguards and new carbon clamps holding the original titanium stays, as I have changed most/near all - loose parts on my bike to titanium and carbon! I would like to try a 12 speed, if not for anything but to assure my initial perception! But see to protect the inside of the frame from the strange holes by the hinges, as water and gravel may come in and on top of the Crank and ball bearings below the stem post! Finn. Denmark
I just treat the talk about holes as propaganda, all bikes are open to the crank, on a standard bike dropping oil down the seat tube lubricants the crank, on a cartridge BB it stops the threads corroding.
I'm thrilled for you, Andrew. That's one hell of a bike....out of my price range though unfortunately. Just bought a C Line electric 6 speed from Tredz. £3150 with 10% off but last week an additional discount of £220 when you spend over £2k. And in my favourite colour..Black laqueur.. my smile was as broad as yours...😊
Our 2 T 12 speeds arrived in Auckland, NZ, 12 hours before they came with us to Fifi 2 weeks ago. My T has the wrong front cog, making the gearing too high. Brompton will soon change this for free. Both T's are missing the front bracket, and the T front bracket is special to the T. Dealer will install or I will when they arrive . The T certainly is a great Brompton and the best we have owned. They travel in oversized suitcases with outer clothes and under 23kg each You don't have to change tyres as we use goop to stop punctures, which works.
Great stuff and enjoy them to the max, I have used the tyre sealant in the past but found when they do pop the clean up is a long drawn out job, it’s actually easier to mend punctures! I do ride a lot of off-road tracks, here in the UK it now seems normal to smash your beer bottle when done, in London last week the routes were covered with broken glass.
Morning Andrew, I hope you are well. Forgive me for having a bit of a break from TH-cam, but life catches up with us all and we have to prioritise at times. However, my stream this morning included a vlog from Paul Messner with you on it. Ahh, Nottinghamshire Madness I thought. I then see you've only gone and got yourself a T Line! This puts me in a bit of a position as I had to get a P Line the last time you got a new purchase. Therefore, I think I'm going to have to do some real head scratching to see how I'm going to achieve a T Line. I should add, I actually subscribe to you on my other channel, Campervan Habitude. I won't insult your intelligence by explaining what that channel focuses on. However, I will say, I have created this channel to concentrate more on our Brompton trips, which include UK, France, US etc. To ensure I don't miss any of your vlogs I've subscribed from this channel too. Thanks once again and happy Bromptoning. Cheers. Mal.
Congratulations on your T Line - absolutely love mine. Not only a pleasure to ride but to work on too. Expensive but worth the investment in my opinion. Safe riding! 🙂
I'm tempted by the low weight as I'm in my 70's and not as strong as I once was. The price is a bit steep for me, though I could sell my customised 2019 CHPT3 to help towards the cost...🤔
@@NottinghamshireMadness Unfortunately not. There is 1 store that sells Bromptons here but they are all C-lines (a bit more expensive). If I have to buy new, then worst case I can take a bus to Hamburg Germany and buy an A line there.
That looks the bees knees. I wonder if I bought it if I would be too frightened to ride it. A failing of mine, but not that of Andrew. Wow,wottabike. Wot joy!

British engineering at its finest, I agree with you however most brits are ignorant about brompton and prefer cars than bicycle

We are all with CCTV and access is difficult
I can see that grin from ear to ear peeking out. Lovely brompton. Look forward to your long term review
Super nice and Congrats! Thanks for sharing all your information and keep the episodes coming. 👍💯

Superb bike - - - judging by the smile on your face, you're delighted.
Yes absolutely
Beautiful and remarkable bike. 👍
Beautiful looking piece of engineering Andrew 👍 Your like a kid with a new toy 😄 Looking forward to your reviews on it.
Thanks, there will be plenty to say!

We should catch up sometime
@@NottinghamshireMadness That could be a plan. I'll give you a shout in the near future. Cheers. Mal.
You seem like a little boy at Christmas all smiles 😃
Yes and Thanks

Dream bike that, light as you can get and 12 gears, fantastic touring machine 👍
Yes and first gear is good for the hills
Ooh that's lovely! ❤ i have a John Major bike, a Raleigh Evo 2. Heavier than a Brompton but so comfortable. 😊
The Brompton to end all Bromptons. Well, until the fabled gravel version (G Line) comes out that is. Ride in good health!!
G is 18kg I believe!
Are you going to get the ARCC ?
I’m going to keep as is

As people said to me, do it!
Very nice:) You may not want to ride your other Bromptons now.
I half heartedly got some up far sale but I think they will just get boxed up and put away
@@NottinghamshireMadnesswhere are they listed for sale? I'm in Denmark and need one for the last bit of commute to school.

I haven’t done much about advertising yet, have you any family or friends in the UK that can get you an A-Line?

My A-Line is for sale but it has all the extras done, do they sell the A over there?
When we can ride together again? Exiting want to see your bike
Friday night ride
@@NottinghamshireMadness I can only make at 7pm. Because I work
Are you a Presta or a Schrader man ?? Nice colour !!
I’m easy really unless it’s an MTB then Schrader all the way

Nice bike but is it worth 4 and half grand how much better iss it than basic brompton
Definitely worth the money and severe back pain better! As for riding? Go and have a go, you'll need an hour!
What's your height sir ? The seatpost is too high 😮
Yes, first ride but also on deck shoes, all set up now and thanks
Biases Andrew surely not😂.
Try going up a hill
I will experiment with gear ratios after using it for a while, I’ll most likely go with a 44T interchangeable crank set
