The Terracotta Army was discovered in northwest China's Shaanxi Province in 1974. It's part of the mausoleum of Qinshihuang, known as China's first emperor. When the life-sized clay figures were unearthed, most of them were damaged or ruined by either natural factors like floods or human activities. For nearly 50 years, experts have been working to restore the life-sized clay figures. It takes months, or even years to complete the restoration of a single piece. Lan Desheng, a senior restorer, has spent 25 years repairing the #TerracottaArmy .

How amazing was Emperor Qin Shi Huang that he would honor the warriors by making each one unique. This was a true Dynasty. I hope, that in my lifetime, I may journey to see these in person and up close. There is no greater history than this. I would imagine that his Army was proud to serve the people and protect the Culture. And it is fitting. Each one of these statues, a representation of loyalty and integrity, should be pieced back together and bonded so that the cracks are no longer seen. So that they can be intact and be firm in their spiritual rite and purpose.. one of Integrity and steadfast Loyalty.

@@linah2551 i mean i have heard about great firewall of internet there. i usually don't buy everything us/eu media says about china, but as i know it's designed to censor and control what people can see, cutting them access to something ccp doesn't embrace - so it's not law-breaking? like can you publicly say that? cause if it's not law-breaking, then why even make a firewall and hence have to use vpn?
