In a true display of incredible luck, Chugga manages to get Ursula as soon as he gets access to merc missions! Fully expecting to see a KOS-MOS within the next two chapters...
oh hi Enel can you please clear up the misconception that filling out Ursula’s chart will give you a broken healer? I think people should know that she’s a nightmare for completionists only
Ursula: "I'd really like to get comfortable with everyone, so we can really enjoy our time together..." Every person who plays this game: *Sends Ursula away from the party on Merc Missions for 95% of the game*
Some of them are also more fitting with specific driver. For example, a certain fire axe blade who thinks he's a king makes more sense to be on a certain one-eyed monster for his H2H
"See that Sword and Shield icon? That's a merc mission." Pokémon Sword/Shield: *Has a side mode where you send your Pokémon on random side jobs to get EXP.* Me: "Coincidence? I THINK NOT!"
@@pluto3194 I mean I'll agree XC2 is better than SwSh, but I wouldn't say the latter is a "bad" game. It's better than the first two Gens and Gen 6, IMO.
"I'd sing along, but you'd hate me for it." Emile, as a long time fan, and knowing your track record of singing, I have to say, THAT'S A FANTASTIC IDEA! Edit: What i meant to say is I'd love to hear you sing along to the music, not to NOT sing along, whoops
@The Phantom honestly if he had more confidence and focused a bit more on it, he could be pretty good. He has mentioned being tone-deaf in the past with music stuff, but that can be learned
@@freyja3153 Yes I agree and hearing aids helps with that, I use them too to help me learn how to sing. As a result, it helped me be more comfortable with my singing voice. :)
I think the important thing to take from this thread is that chugga's audience is super friendly, wow. It's nice to have a small pocket of the internet where everyone is super accepting of each other :)
I honestly thought for a second Emile was excited to just get a straight up bear, since I haven't actually played Xenoblade Chronicles. The sad thing is knowing Emile, I'd totally believe it too.
Minor gameplay spoiler, but he was that excited because Ursula's entire Affinity Chart is centered around Merc Missions, and he literally *just* got access to Merc Missions. She was like, the most thematically fitting Blade he could have possibly gotten in this episode.
This was only from my perspective, but it made me laugh. *Gets strange silhouette* Chugga: "That was weird, what was that?" Me: *gets an ad for a Toyota immediately after that*
mine was an X box Series X halo ad... that'd be an interesting runaway guys game, just have them play multiplayer campaign though it probably isn't their style
@@danielostrowski856 Hilariously, in the same vein, the scientific name of polar bears is Ursus arctos arctos, which is both the Latin and Greek words for bears. Literally translated, its name means *bear bear bear* And, yes, the Arctic Circle is the Bear Circle, and the Antarctic Circle is the Anti-Bear Circle.
27:45 Yeah, Nintendo Direct Announcements are terrifying: high expectations everywhere and you know that people are basically guaranteed to be disappointed because we haven't had a proper one in over a year, so people are expecting way too high levels of quality from minis
Tora's line about being forced to learn how to play the recorder gets a laugh outta me _every time._ Probably got laughs from most people who went through the American elementary school system, too, with varying degrees of bitterness.
What’s worse for me is that the ad had someone fall from the sky and hit the ground, avenger-style. No idea what the ad was for (I skipped it) but for a second I thought that person was the blade.
On my end that very ad was a bud light ad that featured a dog which is hilarious considering how many times Emile thought that a common beast was a rare.
One thing not mentioned is how each Rare Blade heart to heart has slightly different dialogue depending on their driver. These are minuscule details, but it helps the immersion
I thought about that when Chuggaa mentioned that every blade has a heart-to-heart. That's just crazy, thinking about how much voice acting this game features. It must have been a well-paid job.
@@FooBarBash Seeing as most of the voice actors this was their first VA job since they were theatre people it probably wasn't as high as professional VA
The Zou mentioning that Rex mentions at 24:48 refers to the Expansion Pass menu, in which the item you need to collect in order for this strange light to appear is in a "Gift from Zuo." I assume it's supposed to be a letter that Zuo sent to Rex that informs him about the strange light being located in Olethro Ruins. Speaking of the Expansion Pass menu, there is a reward available a bit deeper into that menu, which is not collected when you press Y to collect all. To get it, press the - button twice to reach the "Torna DLC Celebration," which includes 15 legendary core crystals and some pouch items.
I got to 99 vocal 75 looks 75 soul to complete. That is 50 + 13 + 8 + 50 + 13 + 50 + 13 = 197 missions. It is actually slightly less because of the one time missions that give 1-3 of each badge and a good number of fans. Oh, and you get to hear it more if you are using the quests to fill out blade affinity charts.

Ursula was designed by *Risa Ebata* (Satelight Inc.) She also illustrated for the Macross manga and anime, as well as another blade with the most COLOSSAL.... well, you'll see later. Most of you can probably guess which blade I'm talking about.
@Mewaddlee I feel dumb because for some reason I'm drawing a blank on who you're talking about, I'm just trying to remember every character with robes.
@Mewaddlee F*ck. I knew I forgot someone. Oh well, my first thought was rather close. But yeah, his JP VA is also another personal favorite of mine, especially when it comes to badass characters.
I meant to say this in the earlier parts, but using the different title screens from each chapter as part of the end slates of a video is SUCH a clever way to include those in an LP. It's such a great way to still include them in a way that feels natural without breaking the flow of a video, or just showing them off in a bonus video. Going into this LP I honestly didn't really think about Chuggaa still including them since you don't really go back to the title screen in the context of a let's play. How wrong I was to ever doubt the man that shows absolutely everything about a game. XD This LP has just been a joy, especially with how much more foreshadowing I've picked up on that I completely missed on my second playthrough.
Bro I am genuinely so happy you got Ursula right now this is almost exactly the perfect time to get her. I'm personally hoping you'll just have her quest on in the background without mentioning it or blurring it out or whatever and only showing it in full waaaaaaay down the line so that you can save the insanity of having to do all 16 hours of it in one go ahaha
Fun Fact of the Day: Did you know that Ursula was designed by the same Artist as Dahlia, another Rare Blade that is a Healer with the Ice Element as Ursula?
Risa Ebata, probably best known for her chara design work on Macross Frontier. It's really noticeable, too, Dahlia looks a whole lot like Sheryl. But blue. And... heavier.
Except that Dahlia just looks creepy, with those huge hands and foot spikes and stuff - by far the worst Blade design. Ugh. I've seen far better anthro bunnies than Dahlia; why couldn't they go along the same lines?
@@PokeMaster22222 It's why I bought up that they were both designed by Risa Ebata. I find it funny and Ironic that one of the most hated designed Rare Blades share the same designer as one of the more beloved designed Rare Blades.
"The leader of a Merc Mission gains more Trust" - well, wouldn't that have been nice to know... I don't believe the game tells you that? I never knew about it, at least. Well, how appriopriate that you'd get a Blade whose progression leans as heavily into Merc Missions as Ursula. Probably for the better, because dealing with her affinity chart *late into the game* trying to catch her up is a nightmare. "No-mark driver that we lost to" - I'm sorry, I don't remember the part where you lost to some no-mark driver? Am I missing something?
It’s that Driver you fight when first entering Fonsa Myma, who pushed that girl over because he thought he deserved the rations more. I’m bouta get whoosh’d aren’t I?
@@lukadark9761 I know it's that driver, but it's more about the "that we lost to" part. I just checked that episode and Emile won that fight easily, so I'm not sure what this is all about. I don't think I'm mishearing or misunderstanding what he is saying *that* badly... right?
A lot of info like that Trust bonus is never explained in game. At that point it’s down to datamining and self testing, the former being the more likely case. Honestly, not a great idea to have that many hidden features that are hard to notice without datamining.
Love the moments of reflection that happen in this playthrough. Really appreciate taking the time to just slow it down and appreciate the ambience of this game, moreso when Chugga talks about some experience he had because of the innumerable moments in this game.
Chugga I just wanna say I was doubting whether to buy this game after I had finished xenoblade 1 (definitive edition) which you introduced me to a couple years ago!. But after watching until two/three episodes ago I bought the game myself and now I'm loving every minute of it! Thanks again!
Ursula was... My second to LAST blade in the game, around the 150 hour mark, even after THE blade. I was trying to 100% and didn't know about Ursula at all and well, let me tell you having to do THAT when there was almost nothing else to do in the game was quite... something.
Here is a funny thing to do in 5 minutes : Travel to the Tardi gate. Go down to where there were debris blocking the water (that you had to clean with fire) and stand where the debris where look down opun your character, and BAM you can see a floating rock. It's a tiny rock that was part of the debris but was not removed. it can only seen from above, not from below, and it's just funny seeing a floating pebble.
It's my favorite in the game. You just sit around and wait for it to finish while you do something on a 3DS or something. Plus, Ursula is my favorite non-story Blade. I think she's really good, and doing her sidequest is actually VERY much worth it.
@@majoraplays6159 You're not wrong, definitely good scenes, but it's just that it takes so long to complete that the rewards just don't make up for it imo. It's good for grinding merc points, but you aren't guaranteed to get her early. I do like her as a character though.
@@majoraplays6159 I’m glad you like it, for me it’s just active enough that no matter when you get it it’s annoying. If you’re in the endgame mission’s only take 3ish minutes, but each time you have to find the correct blades to equip and send off. And having to constantly come back to it means you can’t get truly comfortable or focus on the other thing you’re doing. And if you get it in the endgame (like me) hooo boi.
You mean the BEST SIDEQUEST! I legit really enjoy her blade quest, because it is by far the easiest way to max out Common Blade charts and get the massive rewards for releasing them. It really helps when you can get her early like Emile did because her quest only gets annoying when you try and grind it all out at once. Above all, going through her quest is really emotionally rewarding as Ursula gets excellent character development over the course of the quest. You also really get the sense that Ursula worked super hard for her goals.
I don’t know if it was mentioned at some point, but one detail I liked was that the unique blade heart to hearts are actually different based on the driver, as in Rex would be in the heart to heart and say different things than Nia if he was Ursula’s driver. It doesn’t change what Tora and Ursula would say but I still found it cool!
Emile: That sword and shield icon crossed over their head, that is a Merc Mission. Me: You mean the deer head? (I know it's supposed to be a shield and swords, but I always thought it looks like a deer head. XD)
love the story you shared about the fonsa myma port chugga. i remember being on a 12 hour session on my first playthrough, clearing all of chapter 4 in one sitting, feeling ready to call it. and then i arrived at the leftherian archipelago at night and played for another 3 hours. video games are pretty great
"I guess Poppi has a really strong fan bass! That's where your mind went too when you heard that." Actually no, my thought was "how does Poppi get the proper buzzing motion in the lips?"
Things I did not expect to feel emotional over today: the act of leaving Uraya. See you, Vandham, indeed. The music for Fonsa Myma night *really* always felt more fitting after ch3's end, tbh. Such a glorious city, but such sorrow, between Vandham's passing and Cole's situation.
Watching these is so entertaining. You really get the sense he enjoys the games as much as we like watching it. It's like hearing that one friend talk about the game or the show they really like.
I hope he saves Roc’s core Crystal for Rex, cause it would be another pass of the torch from Vandam to Rex & make Roc feel more special as a connection to the man that was like a father figure for Rex.
Minor spoiler: due to the fact that named cores are restricted solely off story progress (at least with the 2 he has), that means that the story itself will dictate his ability to reawaken roc, and the game has a very set in stone idea about who is allowed to awaken him. Dont worry, chugga wont have a choice in the matter; Roc is REQUIRED to be rex's blade. Moving roc, if it is even allowed in the first place, requires using a rare resource which is only truly renewable in NG+.
@@eddmario i figured as much, but seeing how rare the resource in question is that would allow him to be moved, i never bothered trying (or forgot the results), therefore i couldnt remove the possibility.
@@Benicthehedgehog no, it was just an issue with forgetting he had the item, and he was pointing out the fact that roc isnt gone from the game permanently. He didnt consider who was doing the awakening at the time.
30:28 I had this feeling in Earthbound after Master Belch and the third sanctuary where you drink the Mr. Saturn's coffee and you start tripping with some omniscient text telling you about your journey and what's to come
Chuggaaconroy, whenever an urayan soldier speaks, you should prerecord their speech in that muffled sound, and edit all their voices in whenever they are said. If you do not understand what I mean, just go back to Episode 1 of your Super Mario Galaxy 2 Video. Pleeeeease make this happen!
Awesome! The chugga luck never disappoints me. I just commented it would be great if he got Ursula and he did after one episode. Now I can finally hear "We are Ursula's New Groove and we'll do what we can." Funny enough Ursula is the first rare blade I S Ranked in my playthrough and my subsequent playthrough because of how much I use her.
I'm so happy he got Ursula. I love her so much. She's such cute character, and a decent blade too. I had her on Rex, and she works greatly with her. Not only is he the type of guy who would handle a person like Ursula really well, but his Arts for Knuckles are not too awful either.
I want a bonus video in which Chugga plays the "We are Ursula's new groove, and we'll do what we can" over and over again so newcomers to the game everyone can suffer like everyone else before the skipable dialogue.
Things Emile Missed(?): -No missed troves this time (at least none that I’ll cover), but one small detail for the Vandham’s Last Wish quest is that prior to and just after deploying your team but before the mission’s complete and once more when your team’s finished but you haven’t closed out the mission by going back into the menu, you can talk to Yew and Zuo who will both talk you through the Merc Mission basics in case it still isn’t clear what you’re doing, why you’re waiting, or what to do when they’ve finished up. Apparently Yew didn’t have much faith in you to pull off your first Merc Mission. Found this one out myself last night. Just want to point out, there’s nothing stopping you from Skip Traveling to Argentum (or Gormott for that matter) right now and finding some Merc Missions to take on. However, you absolutely cannot make story progress unless you take the guild ship out of Fonsa Myma. Gotta have a proper explanation in regards to the plot for how you get back there. Just scrubbed to see who Emile got as his new Rare Blade after his tweet, and ho ho boy, she could not have come at a better time! 0:55 WRONG! The Gold, EXP, and Merc Points are given upon subsequent completions albeit at a decreased amount. However, any item based rewards are given only the first time you complete the mission with a few exceptions. Pay attention to the rewards list to see if the item rewards are still offered after clearing a mission. 1:25 In fact to clear some side quests in the game, you need some of these contracts because without them, you sometimes can’t buy the pouch item required for a quest objective. Even some of the descriptions for these quests sound like things that in most other RPGs the game would expect you to go take care of directly. It’s kind of a double edged sword because from these we get an idea of how vast Alrest as a world is, but because of the limited scope, we aren’t able to go see some of these places, only hear about them. It’s just how it is though. 2:40 Oh! I always thought it was purely cosmetic. Good to know! 4:13 Who is Driving? Beary’s Driving?! How can this be?! We are just getting all of the precious beans plus Kota with these pulls. In fact, Ursula’s the last of the Blades who are on the shorter side of the height spectrum, and her whole gimmick is effectively locked by Merc Missions so it is a really good thing Emile got her at this point rather than in the late-game. Strap in folks, because Ursula’s one of the most-grind intensive Blades but if you stick through, she is one of the best Healer Blades you’ll have. Actually just got started on her associated Merc Missions a few hours before this went live, so talk about coincidence! 5:33 You’re not wrong though. Much as I love Crossette, healing is not her strong suit. 7:30 I mean you’re right, they’re both Saffronia trees, but Old Valantia was hand grown and raised by Vandham as you’d find out if you talk to Gronya again. 9:10 You might’ve seen a Blade that you can talk to before the transition. That’s actually one of Emile’s Blades, and they populate Garfont Village after completing Vandham’s Last Wish. I really like this detail. Not only does it show that you now run the Mercs, but it allows additional interaction with your team and makes the Village feel even more alive as you see some of your Blades watching kids like Jelved or overlooking the village from Old Valantia or one of the shrines. 10:33 The world building in this game is amazing. It’s just a shame that we can’t go visit some of these locations due to the limited scope, but then the explorable world’s already pretty vast as it is. No sense in sacrificing quality for quantity in this case. Also it’s nice that most NPCs have something worthwhile to say whether it is world building or helpful advice you wouldn’t get from tutorials and such. 12:06 Sometimes H2Hs will be there without needing to rest at an inn, but most of the time you do need to rest up for the moment to become available to view. And they’re all voiced too! With Blades like Ursula, while her lines don’t much change between Drivers, Rex’s lines will be slightly different than Nia’s. Even the way they might pronounce a Blade’s name might be different due to the accents. 13:33 Sadly, we don’t ever get to hear her sing except for one instance of post-battle banter with Rex and sometimes when you unlock her nodes. People can say how beautiful her singing voice is in-game, but we’ll never get to fully know. *sobs* 14:15 Of the base game Blades anyways. There’s one other Blade who instead of gaining Trust “helps” you find a Scenic Viewpoint (regardless of whether you discovered said Viewpoint on your own), but they were added in a later update for NG+. Also if you look at Ursula’s affinity chart, her Key Nodes aren’t unlocked by trust unlike most others (until now only Roc and Azami have had Key Affinity nodes with a non-trust unlock condition). Again, don’t take this to mean that these points are wasted; they still count as she does have one node that requires 9,800 trust to unlock, but we’ve no way to keep count of how much trust has been built for now short of mental tracking/taking notes. 14:50 Know that feel. Was pretty much required to take piano and violin lessons growing up, but singing’s the only thing that stuck. 19:02 Oh shoot, did I get this one yet? I don’t think I covered it before. Well, it’s here now, and you know what the unlock conditions for it are. As for the contents, well...it’s meh. Mostly gold, and a good amount, but the other items are a couple of Common Core Crystals. Don’t feel bad if you can’t pop it open right now. 20:30 Weren’t you complaining before getting Perceval about your Rare Blade pulls? 22:10 Anything that would require reloading the area should change the Blades you can talk with in Garfont Village. Skip Travel, cutscenes, resting at an inn, and so on.. Certain Blades tend to hang out in certain areas though, and you’ll see those ones more frequently. Emile doesn’t have one of those Blades yet. 23:00 The capital city. If you fail that jump Emile did (timing on that’s a little odd) and fall, don’t worry. The skip travel point for the Ruins will take you to the other side. 24:23 And we will be back here, guaranteed. Good things currently lie on the other side if you can pass the skill check, including a giant white-gold treasure trove that can be lockpicked with the right skills. 28:54 Between the Lockpicking Level 3 chest and this airflow being inaccessible to us, we’re already feeling the effects of losing Roc in terms of skill checks. Having that fourth party member really opened things up for us before. 30:36 Hey, it’s that guy who was bullying Iona! 31:44 I mean it can be worthwhile further down the line, but you’re going to have to deal with a horde of Level 35-36 insects. About 6 or 7 of them. And some of them can self-destruct. 32:30 Really got to know Uraya (that is in fact the Titan’s name), but our story is going to take us away from it with no looking back.
@@wolfekupo5651 Yeah, Vess is definitely up there, but you can pump out her skills in a matter of minutes if you know where to find the resources for her unique field skill. Ursula takes hours to open up her affinity chart no matter how you slice it. Vess’s is more menial work, but Ursula’s just takes so long, even if you’re working on it in the background, and the later you get her, the more inconvenient it becomes to work on her as you run out of things to do/grind. Also at least if you’re going for 100% on NG+ you don’t have to mess with Vess’s chart ever again. With Ursula, you have to start all the way back at 0 stamps, though at least it’s not like her chart resets.

@@wolfekupo5651 True, and her crafting skill’s more like Crossette’s where it expands her menu rather than makes duplicates that count towards the total too. Let’s just agree to say that the grinding for both of them are terrible no matter how you look at it.

A cool detail that I've found with Garfont Mercs is that, over time, they'll start showing up in Garfont itself. Later in the game I managed to happen upon a bunch of rare blades that I had awakened over time, and I found that really cool since it made them feel more like characters instead of just gacha characters that I pulled in the game.
Glad to see you got Ursula early! She was my first or second rare blade during my first playthrough. Thankfully, despite trying to avoid spoilers, I came across people talking about her quest so I made sure to start it as soon as possible.
Of all the Blades to unlock right after gaining access to Merc Missions... Emile’s luck continues to amaze. Well, now that everyone in Garfont is counting on him, he’s gotta step it up
I run Merc Missions while I watch these LP parts, so it is very surreal to click on a video now and be greeted with... the same screen and music that I just looked away from! I like the idea that your Blades chill out in Garfont, but almost every single one of them just COMPLAINS THAT THEY'RE NOT DOING ANYTHING all that ever happens is that i feel bad when i talk to my blades in garfont ...unless they're commons, because they tend to be pretty chill

I swear you're gonna go open some Core Crystals and we're gonna get a volume warning and that is when my time will come as I watch these with headphones on during breaks at work.
I’m rewatching this because I enjoy. I got this game for Christmas because I got really into it because of Chugga’s play through. But Ursula made me, well not loathe but become annoyed with the Merc Mission music because it was constant, loud, and grating which is upsetting because I was so blown away by it the first time. And I can’t even hold it against her because she’s too precious.
4:19 Man. This isn't Kos-Mos, but this is the sort of obscene luck I'd expect, that you'd pull the Merc Mission Blade EXACTLY as you needed her. I didn't get Ursula until more than halfway through the game.
@@ClawedAsh The only reason I know I got her late in the game, is because she's currently on the final party member. But that was when I desperately needed (and still need) unique blades on them, so wasn't too bad until I looked in close detail at what was needed to raise that affinity chart.
Chugga: It's actually interesting we got Ursula right now, because this is the first time where if we rest at an inn with certain blades engaged.... Me: I don't like where this is going.
28:53 see this confuses me. chuggaa does know about stacking field skills as he has shown earlier with ursula yet doesnt think about doing it here since he has leaping on both poppi alpha and perceval together which means he has 3 potential blades left which he can fill with lvl 1 wind mastery. yes he cant disengage either dromarch or pyra but since poppi is engaged at all times and he only needs perceval to fit the requirement for leaping he should be able to fill the 3 remaining spots with common blades of the wind elements since as he has explained himself they always come with their own elemental mastery. But he doesnt which leads me to believe he never commited the field skills of poppi into memory since he seems to forget her fieldskills the most and believes those are the fieldskills of other blades he has equipped on rex and nia. EDIT: ok he thinks he needs finch which means he actually forgot poppi alpha has leaping.
8:48 I feel it was really fitting that Dromarch specifically said this. And here's another comment shocked at Chugga's luck in pulling the Merc-based Blade at the best possible time.
In a true display of incredible luck, Chugga manages to get Ursula as soon as he gets access to merc missions! Fully expecting to see a KOS-MOS within the next two chapters...

Risa Ebata, probably best known for her chara design work on Macross Frontier. It's really noticeable, too, Dahlia looks a whole lot like Sheryl. But blue. And... heavier.

@@majoraplays6159 I’m glad you like it, for me it’s just active enough that no matter when you get it it’s annoying.

Awesome! The chugga luck never disappoints me. I just commented it would be great if he got Ursula and he did after one episode. Now I can finally hear "We are Ursula's New Groove and we'll do what we can."
Funny enough Ursula is the first rare blade I S Ranked in my playthrough and my subsequent playthrough because of how much I use her.
In this episode:

I don't think it's "reiterate bookstore", pretty sure it's "read-eee-write" bookstore, because it's spelt "reed-i-rait"
Absolutely perfect timing for Ursula! That reaction was well warranted
Things Emile Missed(?):
-No missed troves this time (at least none that I’ll cover), but one small detail for the Vandham’s Last Wish quest is that prior to and just after deploying your team but before the mission’s complete and once more when your team’s finished but you haven’t closed out the mission by going back into the menu, you can talk to Yew and Zuo who will both talk you through the Merc Mission basics in case it still isn’t clear what you’re doing, why you’re waiting, or what to do when they’ve finished up.
*sobs*
14:15 Of the base game Blades anyways.
32:30 Really got to know Uraya (that is in fact the Titan’s name), but our story is going to take us away from it with no looking back.
only blade I honestly consider more Grind Intensive than Ursula is Vess...
and at least Ursula you can basically just do something else while waiting
@@Rexaura888 her crafting skill needs TWICE the amount of crafted items of all the other crafting skills (100 instead of 50) and it needs more items each than Vale or Gorg's
@@wolfekupo5651 True, and her crafting skill’s more like Crossette’s where it expands her menu rather than makes duplicates that count towards the total too. Let’s just agree to say that the grinding for both of them are terrible no matter how you look at it.
@@Rexaura888 only one that makes dupes is Pyra, Dahlia has by and far the easiest crafting because her first item only needs a single item
Vess' best item to make isn't learnt until lv4 in the skill (so half way there), Vale and Gorg get their best at like lv2
I love that we get to carry on Vandham's legacy in Garfont! We love you Vandham, you will never be forgotten!!
Right after I read the title I was like: " Da Vinci ?!? "
I watch too much memes.
Send help.
da Vinki??? #:D?
A cool detail that I've found with Garfont Mercs is that, over time, they'll start showing up in Garfont itself. Later in the game I managed to happen upon a bunch of rare blades that I had awakened over time, and I found that really cool since it made them feel more like characters instead of just gacha characters that I pulled in the game.
Oh man Nia said her "And we're here" line in a Heart to Heart.
I like the idea that your Blades chill out in Garfont, but almost every single one of them just COMPLAINS THAT THEY'RE NOT DOING ANYTHING
all that ever happens is that i feel bad when i talk to my blades in garfont
...unless they're commons, because they tend to be pretty chill
...Also, I chose the top option in my playthrough and now I feel a little guilty that I've used the Whispercorder pouch item so much on Tora...
Chugga: "She is probably the cutest blade and would get the cutest blade reward either her or Crossett but waifu Wars aren't important right now!"
*Elektra would like to know Masters location Tum de Tum!!!* ⚡⚡😭
I swear you're gonna go open some Core Crystals and we're gonna get a volume warning and that is when my time will come as I watch these with headphones on during breaks at work.
my reason for why Uraya is my favorite Titan: Water slide. weeeeeee
Buddy, I didn't get Ursala until right before the final boss, she was my final blade pull before NG+
@@ClawedAsh Hoo boy. That's got to be a punch in the morale.
@@ekimmak To say the least, I got her on the last party member, who I already had good blades on anyway
@@ClawedAsh The only reason I know I got her late in the game, is because she's currently on the final party member.
But that was when I desperately needed (and still need) unique blades on them, so wasn't too bad until I looked in close detail at what was needed to raise that affinity chart.
@@ekimmak I already got a really good Ether Canon blade and a really good Great Axe Blade, which made him an excellent fighter
Emile going up to that hallway with the you-know-what DLC almost gave me a heart attack!
Chugga: It's actually interesting we got Ursula right now, because this is the first time where if we rest at an inn with certain blades engaged....
Me: I don't like where this is going.
No, that would be with Kora... or maybe Azami if your into that I guess
22:33 Thanks for triggering my 100% grind ptsd, man. Really appreciate it.
"WE ARE URSULAS NEW GROOVE!"
AND WE’LL DO WHAT WE CAN!
EDIT:
ok he thinks he needs finch which means he actually forgot poppi alpha has leaping.
"You the shape of that aux core slot?"
Me-. No.. noon, you better not!
"Its there on her belly"
Me-... it better be that... or else....
22:33 Get used to hearing that a lot in the future...
seeing "future" in the title and you walking up to the DLC thing, only to save it for later? You tease...
“We are Ursula’s new groove” I can’t even imagine how many times I’ve heard that good lord
Also, Dammit Emile....
Your girly screams are un *bear* able!
It's pretty *Groove* -y if you ask me
8:48
I feel it was really fitting that Dromarch specifically said this.
And here's another comment shocked at Chugga's luck in pulling the Merc-based Blade at the best possible time.
