Oh Emile, even when I'm at my first year of college, I will always have time for your videos. You are a big part of my childhood and an awesome person. Keep up the amazing work!
I have to admit, as much as I love this area and its glorious music, this was the moment I started to get burnt out on the battle system. I had yet to find a groove for it, and I was actively trying to avoid battles whenever I could. If I had known what I know now, I'm sure I would've been feeling the battles a lot more. I'm glad I pushed through, though, because the game gets better.
During my first playthrough of this game, I gave the Beastly Core Crystal to Nia, because I thought it would be a hilarious contrast between the adorable cat girl and the hyper buff Xenomorph working together.
Think I did too because I felt she needed more Blades. . . never overdrived him and he stayed one of her active blades for most of my first playthrough. He is however on Rex this time and staying on Rex because I want access to my guaranteed break art.
11:00 knowing that the ship to More Ardain is STILL there, I can't get off my head the feeling that the quest in the previous episode... felt forced, to lengthen the plot a bit, writer's block (if that term is used correctly). Going back to Torigoth, to then return to Unclepon's house (and he wasn't there!) felt like going through a giant circle. If the ship was gone by the time they return, or they discovered new lands, or that quest will have some significance in the future, I'll accept it. The only good thing was clearly seeing Roc again, but I feel that the developers couldn't make a better moment for the bird to return.
There's something to be said about having a moment to have Rex do to those Gormotti orphans exactly what Vandham did to him: helping them solve their problem and giving them a purpose in life beyond the short-term goal. Punctuating this with reawakening Roc and having them still be their good old Roc-y self was the cherry on top. In short, while at first it may not seem like much, it still gave Rex character development, and this will (if in an abstract way) become relevant again in the future.
Been looking forward to this part just to hear to hear the Mor Ardain music again. Thanks Chugga for your *ahem* stirring rendition of it at the begin.
So many references in this video I appreciate But I also appreciate the little 'thank you' message in the middle. Chuggaa, I am thrilled you decided to play this game and I look forward to every episode. You revived my love in the game once again, letting me see so many details I missed before.
"Thanks for giving your time to it" Well my friend. From the bottom of my heart. Thanks for bringing this to us. You helped me through my over 200 hours in xenoblade definitive edition. You helped me truly care for that game and this franchise. I usually played a segment then watched you. Can I just say what a wonderful job you've done being spoiler free and the community as a whole. For example in xenoblade 1 the "7th party member" I mean this has such a wonderful community as well. So hats off to all of you. This game I've found only this year. My first ever JRPG and I'm gonna do more and more. Thank you for your effort. I really really do appreciate it❤
Beautiful singing Chugga you did justice to Mor Ardain's theme. Also to that kid, WHY WOULD YOU EVER WANT TO LEAVE A PLACE WITH SUCH EPIC MUSIC?! So what if there's pollution.
when he said "what is the rule of this channel?" my first thought was that I must always make puns or all puns are funny or something along those lines lol XD
I gotta say 9:50 may be the most genuine "thanks for watching" I've heard it awhile, and he didn't even have much obligation to say it. I will admit this series does take some effort to keep up with since he's posting 30+ minute videos every day (by the way fantastic job for not missing an upload 30+ episodes in) but I'm really happy to watch. I love this game and have been waiting for Chuggaa to Let's Play it ever since I first played it in 2018, and so far he's really been delivering. So in case you see this, Chuggaa, you're welcome for watching and thank YOU for giving us something so great to watch.
I like how you thanked us for watch the videos to this point...when it's you we should be thanking. I can't speak for everyone but I love watching your videos. Very entertaining!
O_o Can we just appreciate the amount of time and effort it must've taken to get the entire party on the ledge in the opening of the vid! I have tried that myself and it's not as easy as you think with the cloud sea not allowing party members to respawn and whatnot lol
You're welcome, Chugga. I usually don't comment on TH-cam videos as i feel like I don't really have much to say, but I appreciate hearing you thank me nonetheless. I've watched your videos since I was a child, and have always admired the way you handle your Let's Plays. I wish to be able to replicate your thoroughness in any capacity when I begin making content. I played Xenoblade 2 upon release and thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game. I nearly finished the game but ran out of steam, and traded the game out with the intention of repurchasing upon release of the Torna Expansion. I never did, and your recent videos have made me vehemently regret that to the point of nearly splurging the last of my recent paycheck to get it lol. I decided to save up for it, and cannot wait to rewatch these videos as I playthrough not only the last of what i have missed, but the dlc as well. Thank you so much for all the years of work you have put out and for all the games i never would seen if not for you. You are my absolute favorite Let's Player, and I can not wait for Episode 34.
After playing this game for more than 200 hrs I think I enjoy the night version a lot more. the day version is good track but it got a tad repetitive/annoying after a while.
@@dinglberry3320 So what I am hearing you say is that the Day theme is so good, you played it until you preferred the night theme. Truly a win for the empire.
23:42 I actually miss how in Xenoblade 2, the collectapedia had all these funny little stories to the items you'd find. All it tells you here is "You find X in this region". And it doesn't tell you this if you spend all of it, so I always end up thinking "UGH! I can't spend the last of this item, I won't be able to find it again."
The issue is I think the location is that its where is most commonly found or came from. There are gonna be times where the item in question is from a place you haven't visited yet.
2 things 1. OH MY GOD, IT IS TIME FOR MY FAVORITE OVERWORLD THEME IN ANY VIDEO GAME And 2. You’re welcome for watching, but we should be the ones thanking you for making the series, Chuggaa!

I think him having this animalistic attitude sometimes makes him so badass but then his Pouch Item comments and other things make him such a much deeper blade than that. Wulfric was designed by *Ryōsuke Aiba* who is the director of CyDesgination Co., Ltd. and has designed for Final Fantasy III, XI, XIV, and Dimensions II.
*Side note: Wulfric is the only blade whose core crystal that you obtain by playing the story, that is completely optional. But why wouldn't you want to awaken the bestest boy in the whole world?
I love that boy more than life itself, he is so precious and I want to hug him
He's a pretty nice guy once you get to know him too.
Wulfric is the one who needs to be protected, not the one who protects.
I mean look at him! 30:40 He's such a shy boy!
"NO!"
It's been 3000 years...
I felt that
it returned when it was most needed
Oh Emile, even when I'm at my first year of college, I will always have time for your videos. You are a big part of my childhood and an awesome person. Keep up the amazing work!
The end of this episode brought me back to “ID RATHER DIE THEN TALK TO YOU”
All the way back to isle delfino
God, Chugga jamming to Roaming the Wastes is just too relatable
Ah, Mor Ardain. One of my personal favorite locales from Xenoblade 2 and home to my favorite overworld theme “Mor Ardain ~ Roaming the Wastes”.
19:24 Lmao Wulfric's delivery of that line was priceless!
"...as we listen to the badass version of The Price is Right."
And it sounds like it, too.
Been looking forward to this part just to hear to hear the Mor Ardain music again. Thanks Chugga for your *ahem* stirring rendition of it at the begin.
Emile: „Bye Azami you‘re off to get as some more contracts.“
That‘s no way to treat your Yandere blade Emile!
People: whats you’re favourite titan
Me: Mor Ardian because I loved Ardian and Mor of it is better
Mor of Icurus was a mistake...
6:59 the nostalgia of a old joke... might be overused be we still love it.
So many references in this video I appreciate
But I also appreciate the little 'thank you' message in the middle. Chuggaa, I am thrilled you decided to play this game and I look forward to every episode. You revived my love in the game once again, letting me see so many details I missed before.
14:43 can't wait for the chuggaa out of context account to have this
"Thanks for giving your time to it"
Well my friend. For example in xenoblade 1 the "7th party member"
I mean this has such a wonderful community as well. So hats off to all of you. This game I've found only this year. My first ever JRPG and I'm gonna do more and more.
Thank you for your effort. I really really do appreciate it❤
I needed that half epic no more than you could possibly imagine Emile.
Beautiful singing Chugga you did justice to Mor Ardain's theme. Also to that kid, WHY WOULD YOU EVER WANT TO LEAVE A PLACE WITH SUCH EPIC MUSIC?! So what if there's pollution.
Personally, I like the longer videos, 30-40 minutes is what I find to be just right.
I laughed harder than I should've at the "AAA" salvage spot.
I totally thought Wulfric's voice was you at first. He sounds like Chugga speaking gruff.
Watching this series is always the best part of my day, thanks Emile.
6:54 wow that REALLY takes me back. He can still say it the same way as well... I feel old
No one can say nooo better
Started singing to the music with chuggaa there with a big ol grin on my face. This music is just so freakin good
when he said "what is the rule of this channel?" my first thought was that I must always make puns or all puns are funny or something along those lines lol XD
*Sees Wulfric in the thumbnail*
Me: "The good boy lives!!!!"
20:17 Please tell me that I wasn't the only one that heard crab rave there for a hot second.
12:00
What if you said
You wanted to listen to the Mor Ardain theme
But Chugga said...
Duda dada dada dada da DAAA
Olivio: Hey can i have that chess set.
Chugga: Well NO!!! But actually yes.
*I PRESSED DOWN*
I would like to give thanks
It's because of this LP I picked up the game again after never finishing it and I'm enjoying it quite a bit
I miss the “NO!” Please bring it back.
Indeed
28:00 “Let me make something clear. The night theme isn’t bad. IT JUST AIN’T A F-(clip of Nia’s cat yelp)-ING BOP!” Glorious censoring.
Best XC2 song has entered the let’s play. Roaming the wastes is so good
After playing this game for more than 200 hrs I think I enjoy the night version a lot more. the day version is good track but it got a tad repetitive/annoying after a while.
@@dinglberry3320 So what I am hearing you say is that the Day theme is so good, you played it until you preferred the night theme. Truly a win for the empire.
There's a couple of other songs in this game I like more, one with a more "chill" vibe if you will for one, but this one is definitely tops.
That Splatoon joke made me laugh for a second, I laughed really hard for that second, though.
Hey Chugga, I just turned 20 in 2020, and watching you and this series makes this year bearable. Thank you chugga, love ya man.
8:17 that's how cats show affection :P
2 things
1. OH MY GOD, IT IS TIME FOR MY FAVORITE OVERWORLD THEME IN ANY VIDEO GAME
And 2. You’re welcome for watching, but we should be the ones thanking you for making the series, Chuggaa!
28:04 I love how he uses Nia's weird noise as a censor
6:55 whachu mean old tired thing?! It makes me giggle every god damn single time, even when I'm expecting it!
To be honest, I prefer to use Wulfric on the next party member instead of Rex, but Wulfric does work well with him.
I'm glad to hear that, since i decided to hold off of the beastly boy until getting a new party member, no reason other than evening out my unique blades! :)
Am I remembering which party member is next correctly. Is Wulfric a good evasion tank blade?
@@sachanadeau5444 I'm pretty sure the next party member has the second best spear kit next to Rex.
I mean, I mostly put Wulfric on the next party member because I love fighting an enemy and hearing out of nowhere:
"TWIN DRAGONS!!"
Coongrats on 33 consequtive uploads! that takes a lot of work and dedication! im forever graterfull for all the work you put in. My life would be so much different if you never did what you do! so again, THANK YOU
Meet Wulfric: The Terrifyingly Adorable Killing Machine
It's my Wulfi boi! The last and sertently not least blade that I use on Rex mainly. I think him having this animalistic attitude sometimes makes him so badass but then his Pouch Item comments and other things make him such a much deeper blade than that. It just feels right that Rex uses both Wulfric and Roc since these are both blade from his time with Vandam and that they're good reminds of what's happened before and how much Vandam is still helping us now even after he's gone. I would never say he died in vain, he gave us so much for how little we knew the guy.... Thanks once again old friend
26:23 I thought that was a level 298 enemy for a second
7:32 key word "chivalry" my god chugga has very carefully worded his foreshadowings this playthrough... the dedication from this man
Chugga: what is the greatest rule on this channel?
Me: Shiny. Is. Good.
Unless it’s homework
I've recently gotten hooked into danganronpa, so randomly hearing chugga bring it up almost broke me with happiness
"The difference between books and board games is that boards games are fun, books aren't."
Emile I think you triggered a bunch of Boomers by saying that
And now this song is easily my favorite simply know as mor Adrain roaming the waste it’s that good
