It's nice to see and hear the robot boat turbines starting up again, without actually having to stand anyway near and breathe the exhaust. The navy docks of Karlskrona used to be filled with so much unburned diesel vapors it nearly made us throw up sometimes! Very cool boats, I miss them. Equipped to their teeth, beautiful hull and really high top speed for their size.
That is a surface action squadron, ready to go in harm’s way....Even if it’s only for an afternoon. Liked seeing the various tugs and tenders...backbone of any navy. The missile patrol boat and PT boats provided a nice mix of armament and sensors.
On the larger ships in the film, there are turbine engines. Those old turbines had poor pre-combustion at start-up so some of the fuel doesn't burn up but just becomes smoke. It usually also fires out of the exhaust pipes at start-up, the same reason there, there is a lot of unburnt fuel in the exhaust which ignites. When the engines are warm, there is no smoke and no fire...
Absolutly fantastic! Thank you very much for sharing, appreciate it a lot.

Solid!
KEK!
Why do those turbines smoke so much? Every video I’ve seen of these boats they are just surrounded by smoke
