for all of those people out there thinking "oh how's watching videos in my target language going to help when i know NOTHING in that language ?": i learned a language to like b2 in 6 months just by exposing myself to it. I had just moved to that country, but my ego would not let me tell them i couldnt speak the language and so the only words i knew were yes and no. I figured out the language just by context and my knowledge of other languages (you'd b surprised how many common words there are in languages even when they don't have the same root language) I used the main words in the sentence that i knew from context/guessing using other languages and the tone of voice to answer (you do need very small knowledge of the language for this though) Try not to put on subtitles in a known language, because then your brain completely blocks out the sound and focuses on reading, instead try putting the video in that language and also the subtitles because then u have an auditory and writing element to help you make links to words you might know (eg, when u hear a word, it might not sound like something u already know but when u see it it might look familiar ! and vice versa) if this is too hard for you because of your limited knowledge of the language, then try using audio in your own language but subtitles in that goal language because subtitles tend to be focused on a lot more by ur brain and then if u dont know a word then u automatically start searching in the audio for a potential defenition even from context ! once u have reached decent level in the language (eg b1) then you can finally work on your word order and speaking skills. You'd be surprised how much you will already know from these just by watching things and exposing yourself to the language. Also when you speak the language and make mistakes that are embarassing, it makes sure you remember the mistake so it is a very efficient way to learn if that is something that doesnt bother you too much or doesnt put you under too much pressure (dw, i promise they'd forget that mistake in a day or two ^^) that is my ultimate guide for learning a language by context ! ^^

Can we learn 2 languages at the same time or its too difficult ? I wanna learn korean, but in my high school i learn spanish (but have 0 base bc i didnt have spanish in my middle school, i only had german and italian, so the result is that i don't know anything about spanish, i only know italian💀) and at the baccalaureate (final exams in french?) we have a Spanish test, so i want to try to catch up on everything I missed in spanish but i also wanna learn korean
For now all the languages i can speak are vietnamese, french, english, and a bit of italian
