As someone who grew up in the 80's/90's I'm stoked to hear influence from that era in some of today's bands... Not to mean I'm overly nostalgic, but I love music of that time. The Cure, The Smiths, New Order... a lot of wonderfully musical tones and textures, lovely songwriting, all with the unique Jay Som delivery. Definitely a fan :)
These guys definitely work at their craft. You hear the Nirvana and grunge influence riding along with her sweet sounding voice. They are by no means polished, and have a long way to go. But, they have an interesting sound with nicely crafted work. It's rewarding to hear band members actually play their instruments and try to bring something to the table where quality in the music matters. Good job all around.
The music sounds amazing, but Jeff Foxworthy on the guitar needs to quit babbling between songs. The part when he cut off Melina so that he could introduce "I Think You're All Right" was quite cringeworthy.
To this day this remains one of my favorite live band performances captured on video. The whole thing is just so cozy
thanks. we appreciate that!

I’ve been listening to Jay Som for quite a while now. I love to listen to them preform live more than any other band I listen to!🤘🏽
Great to see a live performance of "I think you're alright". Such an amazing song!

Jay Som is the real deal
Yes they are!
I actually enjoy their live performances almost better than the studio version, cause you can actually understand Melina's singing.
Melina your a babe can't wait to see you in Seattle! Keep it coming with the great tunes!
THIS IS THE NEW GENRE, THE NEW SOUND. WELL DONE.

I like this new tune in my ear.
I love them. It's like the female version of Wild Nothing please visit Manila
Not played in this set but For Light is one of the Top 10 songs of 2017.
WOO! JAY SOM!
ela parece ser a menina da banda No Vacation....
Kurt Vile on the bass. Interesting choice.. 🤔
i don't think thats kurt vile
@@eckoecko4173 what do you mean
@@pulsur I meant that I think the bassist looks very much like Kurt Vile but is not actually Kurt Vile. I believe this person's name is Dylan Allard.
I need to know what song did Oliver sing at the end of the video!
Its hard to believe that such untalented people are really behind the recording of "1 Billion Dogs"

avacado I respect this band for their own merit, but I must say, I here some definite Pavement influence in their sound.
He's kinda goofy but as far as all his buddies are ok with it its not our concern.
