Discovered this group while having some minor cosmetic work done to my car. The guy in the shop had it playing on his play list. Had to ask who was playing before leaving. Glad I did.
It is refreshing to hear, fluid and unhesitating but also sincere and not preening and saccharine. Can hear influences clearly, but she wears them here like sewn patches, not like a Halloween costume.
