Icey Tek is the best cool box money can buy. It keeps ice for up to 10 days. An absolute must for camping.

Thanks for explaining that. What would you suggest is the best compressor option for off grid fridge and freezer that is silent and can also still be used as a coolbox with icepacks if desired?

If you are off grid then I would recommend something like Dometic’s CFX3 boxes.

What model is the stainless steel fronted one in the middle please?

It was the Dometic ACX 40 but I’m not sure this model is in production any more.

I run a standard 12v fridge off battery and solar panel..have always lasted a week at least

This sounds quite good. What battery and solar panel do you use?

    • @barukkazhad8998

      @@michaelwolfe3038 100 w fold out one with a leasure battery .
You want to match or exceed your produced amps with your fridges / cool boxes draw.

@@michaelwolfe3038 oh and just did two weeks in Cornwall and it worked fine. I unplugged the fridge at night and realigned the panels to east before bed so every morning the battery gets a top up then repluged it when I got up . If we went out for the day I would lay the panels flat

Way too much waffle, what I want to know is what to buy to plug into camp hookup that’ll keep my food cold for 2 weeks reliably.

Are you looking to go outside of the UK and are you wanting the fridge to stay at a consistent temperature?
