HALFORDS LITHIUM BATTERY COMPRESSOR FRIDGE REVIEW. WE WENT TO HALFORDS AND GRABBED THE END IF LINE COMPRESSOR FRIDGE WITH A BUILT IN LITHIUM BATTERY! PERFECT FOR VANLIFE AND DAYS ON THE BEACH.
We saw a post on vanlife uk about a compressor fridge that runs on its own lithium battery! We headed straight to Halfords to grab one!
This is an awesome compressor fridge although the battery doesn’t last as long as stated, it’s still a cool compressor fridge perfect for vanlife and van and camper van travels. It needs to be kept out of direct sunlight.
If you can get one for the amazing price of just £100 you won’t be disappointed with it.
It’s a perfect compressor fridge for your camper van.

You should be able to run this fridge straight from a solar panel 50Watts Will be enough ,put it on top of the fridge in direct sunlight. So now you have shade and power , good luck boys.😀

Keep checking, people are going back into shops that had sold out and they have been getting deliveries of a couple of them.
If your local store doesn’t have one then ask them to check where does.

But forget battery life, does it work fine on regular ac/ 12v.

I 'd be interested to see how it would cope plugged into a camper 12v supply outside in direct sunshine , as compared to a similar style/size non battery fridge under the same test criteria .
Also , how much would a bodged insulation jacket from foam board and foil tape improve things if at all ?

It’s an in store end of line deal.
You need to go to your local Halfords and then if they don’t have them they will be able to tell you which Halfords stores have them left.

I guess this is a really good find. If plugged into a house battery, then unplug or use a relay to use its own battery over night.
