I have the tool but the fastest easiest way that won’t damage paint or wood is to put calk on then spray glass cleaner over the calk and wipe away with a rag. Your welcome!

Yea many ways. Even just setting your finger will work and have a paper towel handy. Just use your index finger

I bought that tool for 6 bucks and it makes about 4 bucks a month for the video. Not bad right

Denatured ethyl alcohol works and does not damage the caulk

You should have touch the paint up before you put the new silicone down because silicone is not paintable

I hear you. I’m putting some peel and stick subway tiles on there that will cover it.

Colored caulk would have been easier to see.

I did it for a demo. The plan is to cover that whole section with subway tile those mini square tile.

It can if your not care. I didn’t care for it hitting. I covered that wall with tile. But yes you can Jack up the paint
