    What helps you on days when you lack clarity or control over your life and work?

      Just like this video suggests - distance and reflection. Getting outside, meditation, exercise. I would usually take a break doing something that requires focus with not much mental strain - cooking, crochet, coloring - before I sit down with a journal. Writing things down is the ultimate solution for me.

      Doing something ‘trivial’ that I have been postponing because of all the ‘necessary’ things to do. Attending to these little things while taking a break from the big picture let’s me take a breath while feeling content about getting things done that were lingering. This often returns the energy and enthusiasm needed to get back to the ‘important’ stuff.

      @@timowaag 👍 I dusted the studio today and felt great to just move around and not think! It’s often during these trivial tasks that the mind is working on our problems without our involvement. Thanks for being here!

    I'm glad I found you when I did music is my life and all I want to do is music. My 9 to 5 kills me and now I'm taking your advice and looking at my visions in a different way and prepping my sailboat with a captain is always in charge. I know I'm talented I know my worth. I just got to find my voyage and get that Northstar navigated and prepped to failure is not an option. I would love to talk to you in person if I could I really love the way you put things in analogy. It puts my problems in different perspectives and helps me solve them.

    Nice metaphor. Can you point us to where we can find examples of the type/Genre/styles of music
    which we should be aiming for, what we can use as references ?

    This is great Tommy! My boat is definitely not stuck, but it does seem to go in circles most of the time. I need to wake up my captain!

    • @Zee.Co.
      @Zee.Co.  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The captain falls asleep from time to time - that's normal. Just need to recognize it, splash some cold water on his face and get him back behind the steer! (or else the sirens + pirates will kidnap our ship!)

    So on point, thank you Tommy - I needed to hear this today and I notice I have to remind myself again and again of coming back to my north star. Remembering to journal, to affirm, to stay focused and not get caught up in what's outside myself.
    Plus thankful for your course and the PRO community, to keep focus.

      Hey Lina. Thank you for being here. We have to take responsibility for keeping our ship heading toward the North Star. The world wants what it wants. But your life and legacy is yours to direct. I’m happy to have talented humans like you in our family!

    Really really really great brother!! I am quite often my own visionary and captain but thesepast 2days have not shown this as such. Until today with this fantastic metaphor. Thanks so much for the fire stoke!

    Don your captains cap, set a clear course, and you'll never look back. I set sail with Tommy's guidance; journalling & visualisation has led me to a very exciting place, to which I'd never have arrived without this kind of advice.

    Thanks 🙏 again for the insight it is very helpful and reminiscent of how we should all think 🤔 and very true to the way life actually works.
    But dose not get taught in schools, however it would benefit everyone.

    Hi Tommy! Any source for meditation that you advice?

    • @Zee.Co.
      @Zee.Co.  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Before you open any screen - computer or tablet - I want you to sit comfortably still in your chair. I want you to observe all that is going on in your mind - as if your mind was a river - and it was carrying a bunch of debris - which appears and dissapears. The debris is all your thoughts, all the things that pop up in your mind as you sit still. Let those things pass - don't jump into the river to cling to the debris. After 7 minutes of silence - open your journal - and list the things that came to your mind. Ask if they are true? Could there be another way to look at the situation? Think about your destination - where do you want to be in 5 years? What would it look like? How could you start with a smallest step today? Do that step immediately. Only after doing all of the above - open your phone, your laptop - and answer the world's demands. You will feel better knowing you took care of your calling first. And once it develops into a habit done daily for months - you will see real changes in your life and work.🙏🏼
