@@ethancarter5717bro what do you mean. hillybilly’s strengths are his mobility and anti-loop. he has instadown, curves, and can also break pallets with his chainsaw. even old hillbilly was better than demogorgon. i might be biased though since i was a billy main before rework and kinda sucked at demo.

True, I am kinda a noob in DbD in terms of skill, but once I learned the curve I started getting 4 k's every match basically.
Facts, I main hillbilly and I was on BADHAM the other day and absolutely destroyed them. Ngl Billy still doesn’t get enough credit imo he’s a top 5 killer maybe even better than spirit on some maps

When i was playing with my friends (i only knew the 2016-2017 killers, and my friends were all new), we faced a Blight for the first time, and like, on the call, my friend told us "He walks like a 90-year old, just run from him", like, saying he was slow. The next time he talks is screaming loud af shouting that the old man was a F1 car, i laughed so hard bro. We got 4kd.

23:50 someone had talked about the fact that huntress mains typically go for difficult shots for fun rather than results, which lowers her kill rate, potentially leading BHVR to think that she needed a buff.
She’s also the first killer a lot of people play, bc she’s free and most people have experience with fps games. So there are a lot of bad Huntress players
I doubt that was the case. I think it was BHVR being short-sighted and seeing that at low-mid MMR lobbies Huntress struggles a lot (They balance around mid MMR) so they wanted to buff her. Nurse has like an 80% kill rate in high MMR lobbies. Even against the best survivors in the world a Nurse is still expected to 4k at 2 gens left but in low-mid MMR, she has an average of 2 kills so she doesn't get nerfed until the community finds a way to literally break the game with her.
tl;dr Huntress mains aren't the reason she got the buff; new players are. She's one of the 4 (6 on console) free killers and she's really one of the harder killers to play when you're new.

Is it a skill issue or does the character need changes? Ive tried it a couple times and it just feels bland. It feels like a lot of perks don’t synergize with either Xeno’s base kit or the overall weak add ons it has.

id say hillbilly is definitely in the top 10 now, while demo is more in average tier. i think people find it harder to recognize hillbilly since he was so weak before the rework and the new people trying him are too unfamiliar and drop him. kinda like how skull merchant traumatized survivors to dc, hillbilly might have traumatized some killers to completely ignore practicing him.
I fucking haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate going against Billy now. I wouldn't even have an issue with his power if the ones I went up against weren't total sweats.

The Pig being so low is wrong, but not surprising. One of the biggest memes in DBD is "so we nerfed the Pig" so people naturally think she's bad. She isn't great, but she's several spots higher on this list for sure. Her power gets nerfed both indirectly/directly often because the stats suggest she's actually a pretty lethal killer.
Stats don't always tell the whole story like with Nurse's statistics being very low on kill rate yet still regarded as the best killer in the game.
Pig’s only power is slowdown and addons making it more annoying to survivors. That’s it. Her stealth and Ambush are complete jokes.
Have you guys seen the new patch notes?? She is really solid now and her crouch and ambush is much better. Her addons are solid and she has great pressure. Definitely a B tier killer

I love playing Trapper. But I do agree he could use a bit of a buff.
I don't think Trapper is disliked by the community in any way. But he has the same issue as every other set up killer. You have to waste time to get started and even worse you have to collect the traps. At the same time they can be permanently disabled unless you run his iri addon. In addition to that the lack or gras on new maps is a problem, too. I love strategic killers as well.
The problem is that Bhvr doesn't really make them viable. Trapper suffers a lot of the same problems as Hag.
I really loved hag. But I personally wished they would give her 115%, double or tripple her teleport range and add a perimeter where traps don't activate around hooks so she gets less campy but you can use her traps over great distances and don't have to stay in her web.
Dredge main here, I've personally won more games than lost with dredge, he's a 50/50 killer bcs some maps have GOD tier locker spawns, and then there's maps like Lampkin Lane with literally every locker being on the outskirts or in a house, I think if they updated the locker spawns on a few maps it'd give him a better outlook on future games, love the video keep up the hard work 💪🏻🙌🏻😎

Dredge is definitely weakened by bad locker spawns, but he is a lot stronger than people realize. His remnant is closer to a prototype knight when it comes to pincers. You can hold it indefinitely, but you slow down while holding it. So survivors have to decide, do they risk you teleporting to the remnant or do they leave the tile. If they leave you can just release the power. If they stay it becomes less of a 50/50 and more of an 80/20 depending on your patience.

Fuck yeah x2! Very strong killer, less locker maps for sure will give you a trouble but with right perks and addons the Dredge is insane
I think Dredge is one of those tricky killers to really get down, I say this as a Dredge main. Being able to mindgame, think two steps ahead, and apply as much pressure before Nightfall are the strongest ways to play Dredge.
The Remnant usually has players panicking to break from a safe loop to a dead zone or risk the vault (if you know how to place the Remnant, it's an easy down/hit).
Another thing I've noticed from Dredge players is the lack of TP. Nightfall isn't the Dredge's greatest weapon, but it most definitely is a built-in slowdown ability.
The beauty of playing Dredge is that there's many ways to play them, minus stealthy... which is a shame lol. I do agree that Dredge needs a bit of buffing, primarily with the locker placements and the directional sound they have going on, but I think they were placed properly.
@@Sylaise @Sylaise I 100% agree that he is a tricky killer to learn, however I've never felt overly hampered by his teleport except on maps that have far too little and far too many lockers. Coldwind and PH's map come to mind.
That being said, maybe I'm just used to it. I do agree locker placements do need a bit of a rework. I also agree it's a shame he can never be actually stealthy given how loud he is.
I could be wrong but I think he might actual be the loudest killer aside from spirit in power.
I'm not going to go as far as to say he deserves a top spot, but I do believe he deserves to be placed a little higher. Being able to instantly grab a survivor in a locker from anywhere, having built in slowdown/stealth, being able to cross the entire map insanely fast, and having anti-loop all on a single functional killer is fairly strong imo.
Btw, this isn't an argument but a funny trend I've noticed and would like to know if anyone else has seen this too.
Recently I've had multiple people rage quit as soon as they learn I'm dredge. After the match I've seen that every single time they were running a head on build.
As a Wraith main and switch player, I just find his power the most reliable to use. It’s really hard to get good camera control on console, meaning a lot of technical plays you can’t use, so his lunge when uncloaking and his quick coverage of the map makes it easier to snowball survivors than other killers. Hopefully I’m not alone in feeling this way lol
I completely agree. I really don’t think there’s a better way to put it, his power may be simple, but it’s so reliable that it just works. On top of that, his add-ons are built in such a nice way, where you can create so many builds just by combining two specific ones. So yeah, as another Wraith main, I think he may be a bit basic, but the reliability behind his powers is what makes it worth it.
Billy’s ability to destroy the early game especially if paired with corrupt is crazy, that’s why he’s so high, his overdrive mechanic only makes this even easier and on a good map he can end a game in less then 5 mins if you know what your doing

As a Skull Merchant enthusiast, taking into account only games where everyone plays, I'd give her a Strong B. It's true a lot of games just don't go anywhere worthwhile from quitters, but the games where everyone plays it out she's still strong, but not oppressively so.
Would definitely move her up about 10 spots
As a P100 SM main I would say she's in the middle of B tier. And survivors rarely DC or kill themselves against me. It happens maybe every 10th game. Most survivors put up a good fight, at least in my matches. I always try to give survivors a fun match but I'm aware that alot of people only play her because of her bad rep and excessively BM.
If kyto ever sees this: here is a fun fact: Chucky is the first (and only) killer to have an addon that does not (outside of meme addons) benefit his power or gain a benefit from using it in the form of the silk pillow addon.
As a Chucky main, I only main him because of our likeness.

Kinda sad to admit as a fan of Nightmare on Elm Street but Freddy just isn't cut for this video game franchise. What makes him a funny killer in the series of movies is his slow burn way to terrorize his victims into trying not to fall asleep and then his creative ways to morph into terrifying nightmare figures according to counter whatever big perks the targets choose on their dreams. Besides the movies relies on the wild imagination and cinematography behind the slaughter scenes. Freddy would have to have at least 20 cool moris to fit the bill. Also, how can you even make new comestics for Freddy without killing his unique visual character? He just doesn't translate well in a straightforward cat chases the mice type of game as dbd.

I think deathslinger is pretty good to be in 14th. He’s actually pretty good, and even if you miss your shots it’s easily recoverable.
If you use Lethal Pursuer on Blight it's going to be absolutely insane 🤖🤖
The top 5 in the tier list being majority really early chapters shows you how little DBD really considered the implications of a killer that can throw projectiles from anywhere and a killer that can just straight up phase through everything in the game lol. Crazy that Billy used to be considered right up with Nurse too until they had to fully destroy the killer lol. I would tbh remove Nurse from the game though, it's painfully obvious that the killer wasn't thought out well and doesn't belong in the game, we haven't seen a "nurse-esque" ability since because it's that broken.
As an Artist main I'm surprised she got ranked up as high as she did. I agree with most of it! Although I will say that I've seen A LOT of cracked Dresges and Singularitys in my time of playing this game but I love both of them! Also when it comes to Huntress I was SUPER happy about where she was placed. With the most recent buff that they did to her it felt like it wasn't too much but it wasn't impactful either. The addition to 2 more hatches was insane. I'm terrible at Huntress but the last time I played her I had so many chances to get a hit vs when she had what she had before. I've come across a lot of good Huntresses before and they were REALLY good. I wish I could be half as good at her as a lot of people are.
I never got the fact people don’t know how to play her and she is apparently hard? I find her easy to play even from beginning.
Great video! I like seeing your videos commenting and giving your thoughts at each killer. But I do have a suggestion though, I really wish you would talk about your top 3 killers. Is kinda of a bummer watching everything, get hyped for the top tier, and you just not talk about them at all, skipping the very best :( I know is well known, but prob a great portion of people for those videos are new players (like me). So we still want to hear your opinion in the best killers, especially in them actually.
That lery’s match against singularity was painful
Huntress with good perks and is genuinely good at huntress is SCARY. But the only thing is of the survivor has that perk where you can run out of the lockers and it stuns her it is a good perk for the survivors. (oh yeah and 🤖)
I feel like a lot of these placements were done by primarily survivor mains. Which isn’t a bad thing at all! It’s interesting seeing that perspective. But the killer mains I know would NEVER put Huntress that high 😂 She’s great for sure, but higher than Artist?? That’s ridiculous
I also think that a lot of the killers towards the bottom suffer from being really hard to play properly, so most people you see playing them are bad or not experienced. For example, Twins and Sadako. Sadako is worse than she was before, but she’s still incredibly lethal if you know what you’re doing. And Twins are scary oppressive in the right hands
Lastly, the community is right about Billy. He’s absolutely insane. Absolutely better than every killer that came before him

I used to main freddie when he was in bad situation for his power, although nothing changed to his ability I still can 4k like 500hours survivors with ease without insta down perks. Freddie is bad but not worst, you need to understand his power, Thats all.

Legion isn't really that bad, You just gotta be fast when Stabbing survivors. And there addon of vaulting any pallets and breaking them on the spot is something that not any killer has.

as a Dredge main, SLANDER! i feel (personally) he is extremely good, his recall ability hasnt ever, not once let me down in ending a loop. with locker tp, you really need to have a crazy sense on where people are and when, but even with bad locker spawn, he really can shine if done right.
i also use Singularity and Cenobite, and honestly, right about them all. i know Singularity is a PAIN IN THE ASS and thats what makes me happy playing him. the maintenence to uphold, and just everything about him requires me to be so on top of everything that it feels so rewarding to play.

You forgot that freddy’s power can only be used when survivors are asleep. Unless you run the paint brush, you are pretty much screwed
As a Skull Merchant player, I have had a few matches where Survivors DCed, though it is very few. Same with my Knight.

Ok, trapper is not bad as everyone portrays him, you just can’t be afraid about trap placement, you do need to know your map well to place traps, put them in splotches of tall grass and or dark corners to loops, and a very helpful tip is to not place your traps in one half of the map, and if you play trapper right he can jump straight to B or -A tier

I have to *somewhat* disagree with dredge, unknown, and artist; those ones seem to have a lot more strategy/long-term tech than the others. A bit more dynamic and flexible overall; tactics + strategy.
Huntress, as well as the others you’ve listed, definitely rely on tactical ability rather than strategic planning. I’d also bundle nurse in there as well; MLG reaction-time killers.
It’s interactive as you have to dodge hatchets and play in a different way to just vault the pallet or widow before killer gets to you.

He is RNG based and survivors being able to get rid of your ability by stopping traps is bad. He is unreliable.
As someone whose been playing Skull Merchant a decent bit as of recent, she’s overall pretty strong. The drones are great for pressuring survivors off of gens and is great for forcing survivors from locking you into chase on really strong loops. Wish more people played as her as she’s not nearly as bad as people think

This was such a great idea for a video. Getting to see who the community thinks are strong killers, and who they think are weaker, even if it's only a small portion of the community. As a killer main, who's played as almost every killer, and played against every killer as survivor, it is interesting to see the placement of some of these killers, Billy being one of them. 🤖
I agree with your theories on the Twins. They feel really clunky but an effective Twins player can be devastating. Also love seeing our Vommy Mommy get such a high placement 😍
Why is Doctor so underrated in these lists? I'm a survivor and hate going up against him more than any other killer. Which naturally means that on the rare occasion I do play killer, I play as Doctor and often get 4ks despite not being experienced. Doctor would 100% be in my top 5.
If I had to guess why they buffed huntress I'd say maybe because she had low kill rate? I mean think about it, she is free so anyone who is new to the game (which means bad at the game) can play her plus she is like 99% based on mechanical skill which most people don't have. I think that's the reason, I also agree that she was perfectly fine but whatever
7 hatchets are too op, agreed. because now people take her more often and don’t think at all how to throw hatchets.. like they just spam the button and one out of seven probably hits you anyway 💀

Gun: He has a secondary ability that works the opposite of how his currently does. It has the same range as his normal gun (18 meters) If he hits a wall, his spear attaches to it and he pulls himself toward it at 8 m/s. His cooldown period where he can’t do anything is 3 seconds.
I just think this would make him better because it would actually give him mobility.
As a Sadako main, she is REALLY oppressive if you play her correctly, her counter is also really strong, she’s inconsistent. I think if you’d buff her condemned slightly, it would make it better, such as adding negative affects depending on how many condemned stacks you have, Would make her more consistent but her counter will still be very strong
as someone who plays against so many billys and started playing him after the buff he is insanely good

Skull Merchant definitely belongs more in the middle of the list. Objectively speaking she just has like so many bells and whistles in her kit that she can quickly overwhelm survivors even if they aren't just DCing on sight. She has info from the drones, anti loop with drone slowdown, can easily injure with lock on, has arguably the best stealth in the game since the drones can be spammed for undetectable and she is *extremely* silent for some reason, and any lock on's she gets give her speed boosts that can catch survivors off guard and end chases. She is very oppressive and honestly only weak in the mobility department. It's just that people refuse to play as or against her, so few understand just how strong she is.

Singularity main here, I’ve been playing him for like a year now and I sat he has the potential to be one of the best killers in the game, but a lot of people disagree because of the emp strength, so he’s just widely accepted as a very balanced killer
I mostly agree with the community. However, I do agree with you that Wraith should be lower, he can just be countered easily (which makes me appreciate really good Wraith players). But, I also think Nemesis should be lower, I consider him a very straight-forward brute-type Killer with very little variety, but that's just my opinion.
For Freddy: I always thought he should have more dream powers. For example, Dream Pallets as a passive ability for Survivors in the Dream World, that way he could still use snares, but also mind game Survivors in the Dream World. Adding different types of dream traps would also be nice, like trapping vaulting locations with the Dream Tokens to damage or force slow vaults would be a unique way to affect Sleeping Survivors. I don't know why, but having something like fake Hex Totems in the Dream World for Survivors to "cleanse" but only result in a Freddy laugh would seem like such a fun thing to add.
For Pig: The Death Timers don't really go off unless you intervene in the process. I wish they would be directly influenced by the number of gens being completed, so that they become deadlier as the game progresses.
For Onryo: I think why people consider her lower than most is cause of her poor chase & looping. Personally, I think they could've made her Demanifested state allow her to move through pallets, vaults, and breakable walls just at a reduced speed to help with her m1 playstyle.
I’d argue wraith actually goes even higher on the list than he is, if you’ve watched really good players he is actually really good in chase especially with movement speed while cloaked addons

Things kinda need to be specified. Are talking perks, no perks? You said no add ons so I assume that’s a constant. If we’re talking bare bones killer powers I’d say it’s fairly accurate. If we’re talking about full kits, legion is brain dead easy. Anti loop, speed boost, deep wounds. You have to have brain rot to lose as a legion
I think something we can all agree on though is that every killer is fun in their own unique way (except skull merchant)
Artist without dms is still solid, I got builds for both though, love to go with nurse's calling and discordance as well

As a skull merchant main i can say she is strong depending on which map she is sent too. Nine times out of ten you will get a 4k if you have a good build and drone placements. She can be fun when you are speeding across the map with endless haste lol
