Jeep = POS. "WATER PROOF" JUST NOW? " the strongest axle system in the world"? I guess Jeep must have never heard of Mercedes 😂 none of these compare to the G4x4 ⌛
As far as I know, and I could be slightly incorrect, most cars have either two independent axles, or one independent in the front. On an independent axle, it's really like an axle for each wheel that connects in the center. Each wheel can move up and down independently of each other. A "live" or "solid" axle is just a straight bar that goes across. In a solid axle, when one wheel goes up, the other wheel goes down, which is much better for off road because you have essentially twice the suspension travel.
Harry GoldbergTV Correct, and with an indepentant suspension, the vehicle has a lot more moving parts which in turn leads to more wear and tear on the individual components as well as a higher chance of breaking things
I can do all that with my 2017 Prius. 1.8 liters 3 modes can do 500 miles on a full tank. I have weather floor mats to keep the mud out, my axles can articulate when I get in!!
I paid full price for mine, meaning MSRP + tax and title, no discounts. I've never done that with a vehicle before, but I understand it's a brand new model specialty vehicle with no competition. So this is expected. I would only consider myself getting F'd by the dealership if there was a markup. Definitely don't let them do that.
Jeep Wranglers are one of the top 3 most resellable cars for the past few years because of the demand. Jeep knows people want them and have raised the price because of that. You will lose money on the vehicle regardless. Make sure you actually want one and that it will fit your lifestyle. I traded mine in for a truck not too long ago because quality control on Jeeps is very very bad. If you can wait a couple years for a JL, do it. The initial issues will be ironed out, and you will be able to buy a lightly used one without having to take the loss of value of buying one brand new from the lot. Wranglers leak, are very loud on the road, very bad MPG, and are not comfortable for long drives. But they are extremely fun, and a blast to drive and are great offroaders.
henry Sanson wait for 6 months and buy a used low mileage from a private seller. Just test drive a few so you know it feels tight, jeeps don't last very long ;)
Bomara I mean usually the marketing spiel he spits out is going to be broad when making incredulous claims..there are probably stipulations to that quote.
trust me your better off without a shitty Jeep. unless your fleet is a tilt tray vehicle towing business and you want to tow a Jeep around every day hahahahaha
Make sure they get the 9 speed shift up shift down experience and the dealer it's supposed to be that way experience. Or like my Patriot the oh you had an oil change somewhere else the warranty void experience.
TempestZero As a guy who went from a police model Vic to a Wrangler(see profile pic), can confirm, vics are total tanks. (And with just a few select mods, so much fun....) ugh, now I want one again, just to bomb down country roads, doing 100 mph, and scaring the crap outta my passengers haha
Still going to get recalled more times then I have fingers. It's a Chrysler product, they look nice and fancy on the lot, but they fall apart down the road.
Recalls just like any other new cars. I owned multiple dodge ,Jeep products over the last few years, no complains at all. All well built and 100% satisfied inside out. The quality improved a lot from 2011, maybe before that it was crap.
mebin john I wouldn't even say it was crap, maybe when they were new, but my 2003 Chrysler Product is just the same as my friends 2003 Ford product and I bought mine for cheaper so yippee
Lambo6fo I owned an 2008 convertible pt cruiser. Damn thing had so many problems. 1. The horn would blow constantly 24/7 till my dad ripped the relay out, 2. The interior light would run all time till it blew, 3. The reverse light would mysteriously blew at random times, and last but not least the car would make a sputter noise sometimes and the fucking engine would die. I would never own a Chrysler product again
Lol all these "mall crawler" comments that no one's heard before.. I guess to own a jeep u have to live in the mountains and go off roading every day and if u need to go to a mall, take a cab..
my fj cruiser or any of my other LandCruisers do this kinda shit all day everyday in the outback of Australia when we go out bush. no one in their right mind would EVER take a Jeep somewhere life or death depended on a reliable vehicle.
I know range rovers are expensive but they can do twice as much off road without any modifications and the interior makes this thing look like a dirt buggy
70% of the people that buy this will most likely use it to go to the mall.
IMP Leno 90%
ahhh i would say 97.4%
More
IMP Leno pavement princess
IMP Leno Mall Crawler
id like to have a job just driving people around like that...

Mebin John: "Oh Wow..." Oh my goodness..." I guess he was amazed, LMAO.

Jeep = POS. "WATER PROOF" JUST NOW? " the strongest axle system in the world"? I guess Jeep must have never heard of Mercedes 😂 none of these compare to the G4x4 ⌛
Supermansbrother on the 4x4? 😅 that must be a pretty tall curb
Yea its only 250k dollars, sure totally a reasonable competitor for the Wrangler......LMAO!!
I assure you...they have no damn clue what solid axle and everything else you mentioned is.. and how it works..lol
swaraj sandhu you’re so cool
Most people there don't
And the guy driving didn’t do his research. Jeep is one of three vehicles with solid axles, not two.
As far as I know, and I could be slightly incorrect, most cars have either two independent axles, or one independent in the front. They successfully conquered a street in San Francisco, a spill on isle 3 at the grocery store and some steps at the library.
I can do all that with my 2017 Prius. 1.8 liters 3 modes can do 500 miles on a full tank. I have weather floor mats to keep the mud out, my axles can articulate when I get in!!

Plastic Batman just an indoor activity in Houston auto show
You're talking about a mall crawler
😂😂😂😂
Lol
How do I get one of these with out getting fucked by the dealer trying to sell it overpriced?
I paid full price for mine, meaning MSRP + tax and title, no discounts. I've never done that with a vehicle before, but I understand it's a brand new model specialty vehicle with no competition. Suboptimal just bought my Sahara on Saturday. Sticker price was 44675 i paid 42100
Wait for the second year and buy the first year used.
"Only 1 of 2 vehicles in the world still with solid axles" LOL
DavisAutoSports I was thinking the same thing because 70 series LandCruises still have solid axles and I think the Ford raptor does as well
chubby onions not 100% but Im pretty sure raptors have independent suspension
this has been in my recommendations for soo long and this looks like such a fun experience ngl lol
"The wrangler is the only car in the world which can go over the ramp with all fours on the ramp" You can't be serious?
It's called marketing. You must be new to such a concept.
i think its called "lies" not marketing
akahomie100 wow u must be an expert!
I think he meant that the jeep is the only vehicle that has a breakover angle that can go over that ramp without getting hung up.
Bomara I mean usually the marketing spiel he spits out is going to be broad when making incredulous claims..there are probably stipulations to that quote.
I can do that in my 99 Suzuki Grand Vitara
EliteStricker mahk
J D P O W A
Ascended
I've probably driven my 03 Pontiac vibe harder and faster through the desert then that jeep ever will be 😂😂
Jd Powah
I remember I did this at the Boca Raton International Autoshow. It was amazing!
If it went 6mph on a 30° road I would have bought it.
leroy jenkins 😂
Now.... The big ramp was bigger in San Jose. I remember that being a solid 40° up and down. SPOOKY.
That is a really great experience from you, just wish it was a little faster.
I was at the Philly Auto Show, and they did this.
Nothing like a good 1 ton 83 blazer can do, still very impressive! :)
This was at the Houston Auto SHOW!!!! Me and my dad went, lots of fun!
Gotta love a good ol jeep
We want to do this! We do not have a Wrangler yet in our fleet, but we would love to add one.
trust me your better off without a shitty Jeep. unless your fleet is a tilt tray vehicle towing business and you want to tow a Jeep around every day hahahahaha
I was at that car show, the line for that was huge.
I went there it was amazing!!
We took that ride at the Orange County Auto Show in 2017 and 2018. A nice, fun demo but we still can’t afford one.
Make sure they get the 9 speed shift up shift down experience and the dealer it's supposed to be that way experience. Or like my Patriot the oh you had an oil change somewhere else the warranty void experience.
Last month that show was here at San Diego and they did not brought the new JL. That sucks since San Diego is flooded with jeeps.
I WAS THERE!
wasn't that the 2018 car show in Philadelphia?
Congratulations. My base model Tacoma from 2007 I got for $10k and less than $1k in mods can and has done every bit of this
Will this work on michigan potholes?
“Only in a Jeep 4x4” Remember when the Range Rover climbed a 45° angle on stairs?
Maximus Harris And it’s a Range Rover sport with a good body not lego and not even lifted
A E Same with the Jeep. I think it could do it too.
Doubt it.
Maximus Harris it could
Remember when a Panda 4x4 whipped the floor with a range rover 😆
Turtee degriii
Turtle 5 degree
dirty fi degreez
t\/\/ii/\/ - lmaaao
35 degree angle with wet loose mud that Jeep will not climbed or descent
Haha, my $2000 Crown Vic police car will do all of this at 3 times the speed.
Justin Bailey nothing beats a vic tho
Justin Bailey I would pay to see that
Amen, vics are tanks
TempestZero As a guy who went from a police model Vic to a Wrangler(see profile pic), can confirm, vics are total tanks. (And with just a few select mods, so much fun....) ugh, now I want one again, just to bomb down country roads, doing 100 mph, and scaring the crap outta my passengers haha
Justin Bailey sorry but unless it’s got the sirens and a push bumper it’s worth about $900-1300
LOL I WAS THERE THE CHICAGO AUTO SHOW LIVED IT!
The car show in Chicago is so cool I went
Terrence Salazar Lucky! I wasn’t able to go :(
Still going to get recalled more times then I have fingers. It's a Chrysler product, they look nice and fancy on the lot, but they fall apart down the road.

ASG0919 it’s very good Card these days, I owned 2 of them in last 6 years and no problem at all.
Lambo6fo I owned an 2008 convertible pt cruiser. Damn thing had so many problems. 1. The horn would blow constantly 24/7 till my dad ripped the relay out, 2. The interior light would run all time till it blew, 3. MMMMM.....gotta love those mopar transmissions!
Yeah I've tried turning it off then on again it still isn't working. Can I talk to your supervisor?
Was this in the Denver autoshow???
Lol all these "mall crawler" comments that no one's heard before.. I guess to own a jeep u have to live in the mountains and go off roading every day and if u need to go to a mall, take a cab..
Island Rastah88 i drove to the mall. To check. All jeeps. Customers. Workers. Random jeeps. But guess they forgot to call. Taxi.
thats weird you know i was just at the chicagio auto show came back and this was recommended thats not sketchy
Pff... Our 18 subaru Crosstrek could easily go through that course.... While getting 28-32mpg.
That's some smart thinking letting people ride along
wow it can go over a hill.
ThatCableGuy and it also goes down hahahaha
+fhhsvnggbh lmao completley redesigned with a new dash on it lmao
Where was this at? It looks like so were I have been.
“Only in a Jeep”???? I’ll put my solid axle Suzuki Jimny on there no problem.
my fj cruiser or any of my other LandCruisers do this kinda shit all day everyday in the outback of Australia when we go out bush. no one in their right mind would EVER take a Jeep somewhere life or death depended on a reliable vehicle.
fhhsvnggbh I agree all land cruisers can do all of this like nothing and it’s reliable af
Were you getting a handy while he was driving?
Was this at the Chicago auto show??
Which is the other truck with solid axels
*me on a date*
Her "I drive a Jeep"
Me **trying to impress her** "uhh, I'm a dumbass too"
My $1000 jeep can do that too
Juan Calzada yes because it's a jeep
solid fact.
My 800$ Explorer can do it
:D
Angel Gutierrez explorer sucks
Gage Bachman No it doesnt. Its the most sold SUV in history for a reason.
O wow that looks fun
It’s the Chicago auto show right?
nice road jeep, shame we'll never see one of these actually on a trail.
I believe three vehicles in the US at least have solid axles: 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL, 2018 RAM 2500 and up, and 2018 Ford F-250 and up
not in the front
WuTangLan all three have it in the front..
My 08 dodge ram has soild front and rear
Caleb Cissna ford 1999 and up... Jeep always of course.... Dodge 1990 and up
And all land cruisers
was this at the los angeles expo center.
Is this the auto show in Philadelphia because I was there and I saw this, the best place was the dub thing there
Sauce Gawd this from Houston auto show
That lambo in the back though
Where is that? Cuz I know there is one in Chicago rn
Ram does this too at the DFW autoshow
I love the word Experience
Is this in Connecticut?
Is there a Desi onboard?
Is this at the rodeo?!
Very nice
Thanks for the video. I was riding along with you. Great experience!
Is this the Chicago auto show?
Chicago Autoshow 2018?
My 6 year old son told his coach his fancy new Jeep was a mall crawler not like a real Jeep. I laughed my ass off, long live the CJ
My 1992 yj could have made it through that
cmon now my camry can get through that course lol
Oh my goodness
It could possibly be fun if you could do any of the stuff they were showing off
Epcot's Test Track got tame
Can you do that in a Prius?
The Indian brother organising was the best part of this video
What are your thoughts on a 1992 toyota corolla ?
Stephanie Hardware Very good car, as long as it’s run.
Where is this at
If I buy one of these that course is as close to going off road as I would be able to afford.
Chicago autoshow?
i could do most of this in my liberty. still pretty cool
South of 7 for sure
Any Audi Quattro can get up steeper slopes than that. They have those test things and demonstrate it
I went in that one at the Chicago auto show
What show is this
I just bought one of those
I remember this!!!
As soon as "Pentastar" was said i woulda opened the door and walked away lol
That giant hill finally gave a jeep justice on camera for how steep it can go
I want a jeep!
Is it works on road's
the emotionless delivery of the selling points by the driver tells me hes been doing this a while and hes dead inside
Philly auto show?
Feels like the intro on call of duty
NY auto show?
I know range rovers are expensive but they can do twice as much off road without any modifications and the interior makes this thing look like a dirt buggy
