      Times do change but when shear profitability becomes the de facto business model, quality control/product longevity takes a dive. Just look at Toyota creed for ex their FJ40 series since first production in 1984 it is still a remarkably successful truck despite that Toyota do not have no production legacy or market share like the American counterpart

    With all the automation, why the hell does it cost so much? Who'll actually wheel a $40-50k jeep?

    • @Nevoexpo
      @Nevoexpo 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It costs a lot because FCA wants to get back as much money as possible. It has a lot to do with the politics of the company an the nickle and diming that goes on behind the scenes.
      A lot of people will wheel a $40-50K Jeep because they can afford such fancy toys and want to enjoy them and have fun from the things they worked hard for.

    • @20tea
      @20tea 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Nevoexpo I would say that most of the people that I encounter with these newer jeeps in the Seattle area don't wheel them. They buy them for the notoriety and capability without really "playing" with them. I don't see them on any of our ORV or logging trails. I too work hard, 12hrs + and 5/6 day per week, and make decent money. I still would prefer to wheel at tj or early jk due to cost effectiveness for the capability. These newer jeeps offer more luxury than what would generally be considered for a rugged offroad vehicle that is also apparent in it's cost.

      They can't build enough of these Wranglers.. Every single one is sold by the time it gets to the end of the assembly line. I work at a company that designs and produces transmission pumps which in and of itself has several factories covering multiple contents, thousands of employees, and half a dozen suppliers of further semi-raw materials.
      It costs so much because you're only seeing the smallest aspect of what is needed to make a jeep, or in fact any production vehicle. It takes thousands of components, hundreds of factories, and many dozens of businesses all working together to make the end product you see being assembled in this video.
      Everyone has to keep the lights on and aside from a handful of corporate fawns... no ones getting very rich by selling you a Jeep.

    Hi i dont know if someone can answer me a doubt about the 2021 Sahara Jeep Wrangler, I saw a video where a Sahara car had a retractable roof. I couldnt find any info about it so I wanted to ask if is was a customized one or is the retractable roof a feature of the Sahara?

    Remember people when you buy an American car there are Americans building it. Now I know someone’s going to say that Honda and Toyota is our “assembled“ in the United States but all the parts come from somewhere else. All the money goes back to Japan. When you buy an American car the money stays here the work stays here the car stays here it’s a total domestic product. Unless you buy some early 90s Ford/GM that a mexican American product lol.🇺🇸

    1/5 stars safety, no rear airbags, poor protection on chest and legs in frontal crash, over 440 complains at the NHTSA for bad welds and bad steering, people really frustrated wanting to give it back... the most unsafe car in the street right now due to poor manufacturing and quality. It is a shame this concept is not made by a reliable brand like Toyota, Honda, Subaru, etc. How they are selling the 4 doors from $32k to $50k its unbelievable. This car is as basic as it can be, should be selling for $20k-$24k if anything. I went to the dealer and saw half way done welds on the steering control column, no thanks!!!, i will wait for 2020 Ford Bronco or maybe the 2025 JL (maybe FCA by then gets it right by - trial and error).
